Its safe to move on now Amanda, the revelations have been debunked.Originally posted by Amanda Sumner View PostBlimey, I've not logged on for some time and this thread sparked my interest for a while...until around page 40... Perhaps someone will kindly let me know, so we can all move on....

Bowyer is not important for the theory.Originally posted by RockySullivan View PostI don't know I think he's making it up as he goes a long. I never heard him mention bowyer until we started talking about how he was in the the court that night and then all of a sudden he's central to theory

The Ghost Train is one of my favourites - anything to do with old haunted stations.
I think to be fair Askey was meant to be awful in that, playing as he did an end of pier entertainer. He's better in The Love Match. But he isn't really my cup of tea, although he's very polished.

He was a bit creepy, I have to say :-).Originally posted by Rosella View PostWell, he'd be about the first person in the universe to get any sort of amusement out of him. I occasionally watch the film 'Ghost Train,' made during the war with AA in it. He makes it practically unbearable to watch.

Hi Rosella
Oh, there are various theories. Personally I think he died laughing at Arthur Askey.

Wasn't there some story that Miller had really died in a Paris brothel?
