The When We Left Earth miniseries on the Discovery Channel is good. Tonight's two hour episode covered through the Gemini Program. The final half is tomorrow evening.
This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.
And on the topic of paranormal activity, any of you following the U.S. Open golf ?
This Woods fellow never ceases to amaze us. By his standards he played terrible, but still forced a playoff tomorrow.
He has something unexplainable.
Won't go into it in detail. But it is absolutely fascinating.
Watched Cloverfield last night, amazing! Bit slow to start but it was fantastic once it got going. Left me with loads of questions though, so a trip to IMDB!!
I Downloaded cloverfield to see what all the good reviews were about...watched it this morning, and quite enjoyed it , id give it a 6 and a half out of ten......but doubt that id pay for it....it was ok ....i thought "days of glory" was much better though ,watched that last night..diff kind of film of course.

Here in the UK it's released on the 24th June! We always have to wait, if it was the end of the world tomorrow, we wouldn't get armageddon til next week!
George Bush is in the UK at the moment, I hear he his doing a comedy tour similar to Chris Rock!
Been working on the Hull Daily Mail site adding a lot of paranormal stuff, just to get debate going over there. There is a lot of interest in it, but people rarely follow it up!
Mike,
Just wondering if during your "paranormal activities"( for want of a better word) your attention was ever called to the manorhouse at the old "camel lairds" site at Beaumaris?I worked there for a few years ,and though Im not really a believer in the supernatural side of things....there was something decided ly odd there.I think everyone who worked there ,myself included, experienced it.Its well known as a haunted site locally, and if anywhere is haunted... then that place definitely is. Im not sure what the site is called now, its changed hands a few times....but as i understand it the manor house remains ,i believe its a protected site, probabley looked after by C .A .D .W.

Hi Dougie, I have a couple of books with that location in and it sounds quite interesting, I have just never travelled that far afield doing this. I usually stick to Yorkshire but in the next few months there could be a field trip up north!
It's just sorting through the fine details as we will have to camp there!
That sounds about right actually!
A few years ago we had planned a trip around the North York Moors and knew the route well as we had walked it years earlier. I couldn't get over how many new roads there were and how much traffic was on the roads.
The place were we had planned to eat was a road, and it was a nightmare keeping the stove alight with loads of boy racers speeding by!
The campsite is actually in Scotland, and used to be a battle ground.
We are English staying overnight on a battle field were thousands of Scot's were killed! I am sleeping with my torch!
