  • Hi Jeff,

Click on "Quick Links" up top here then on "Edit Profile". That worked for me. You'll have to start from scratch.

    • I got hold of the graphic novel From Hell yesterday, they are not kidding when they say it is graphic!!!!

I also bought Saw 4 (Ultimate Edition) it comes in a box with a circular saw on the front cover, you press a button and Jigsaw says a couple of things, then the saw spins!

That takes my collection up to,
      Saw
      Saw Dir Cut
      Saw 2
      Saw 2 Dir Cut
      Saw 3
      Saw 3 Dir Cut
      Saw 4 Ult Edition

      • Hi Mike,

I haven't seen Saw IV. It seemed to me that they were dropping off each time from the first.

The Mothman show wasn't all that.

        • The team are signed on to make upto 7 Saw movies so the franchise will be around for a while, I love the script writing and the way that time is messed around with, so you are never sure until the last few minutes wether it is a flashback or real time.

We have not reallt had any new stuff on over here re The Paranormal,
Living TV has just begun the new series of Most Haunted (Yawn)
Living TV 2 is showing GHosthunters, they are billed as New, but we have watched them on the same channel bfore Christmas!
Reality Channel sometimes shows "The worlds greatest Ghost/orb/rod/ufo/bigfoot Caught on tape" but again they are all old shows.

Discovery has the occasional gem on regarding UFO's and Ghosts, and now and then we are treated to day long, back to back shows!

I am hooked on Mythbusters at the moment, with the new series being shown over here, I love the team and their antics and cannot help but laugh at the stupid situations they get in!
Carrie Byron is a babe too, so that is always a draw!

I have been busy writing up my new book "Haunted Hull" which has been completed almost four times, this time it is double saved though!!

          • Does that mean it's been completed 3 times, or almost completed 4 times.

            • I have the worst luck with computers, I lost a disk of work because it said it was corrupted, then my hard drive went, then another hard drive went and this is my 4th try!!

A lot of the cases are from memory so i am having to contact all the old publicans I have spoken to god knows how many times!!!

              • Again with the pedantry, but all the publicans you've ever spoken to? Surely publishers is what you need?

                • Hic! Hic! thats maybe were im going wrong!

I spoke to a company called Highgate Publishing who do a lot of local history books, the guy said

"Pay for it upfront, print the book, and distribute it"

Surely thats just the same has self publishing!

I saw a Saw trilogy box set yesterday that comes in box with a 3D jigsaw head on the front. At first I thought it was a REALLY good hologram, til I realized that it was a 3D object.

I liked Saw 3. I thought it was overly and gratuitously complex at first, until the last few minutes when everything fell into place. It was a large step up from Saw 2

                        Hi Stan,

I have tried four times and it keeps saying there is no subscription. Do I have to pay a subscription now to profiled? Is that one of the new changes?

If someone wouldn't mind taking me step by step, I'll be glad to try to get my profile on there. If not will somebody explain what is going on?

                        Jeff

                        • Hi Jeff,

No, I didn't pay. If you haven't tried "USER CP" -- "EDIT PROFILE" , you can give that a go.

If that doesn't work, I don't know what to tell you other than contact the Administrator. That is unless someone else has a better idea.

                          • I was tempted to buy the Saw boxset but the wife would have probably killed me with it!

We do enjoy the Saw films though, i have a John and Amanda statue, and a 15 talking Saw Doll!

We watched Saw 4 on Monday and next time the wife is at work and the kids are away i am gonna sit through the extras on all the disks!

God I am such a nerd

                              Hi Stan,

No doubt you noticed that most people are not on the calendar, so there's no way for us to know who's the oldest. I know there was a member in his 80's, but I don't know is he has re-registered. In a way I like not knowing the ages of people. You can generally guess the age bracket though, anyway.

I miss Mothman because my husband called dibs on the tv before I got to it. You say it was not too good?

Jeff, Did you get the profile done? I did mine earlier and it was okay. They are still working on the site.

                              • Hi Celesta,

                                No DVR or VCR?

I thought the Mothman show was a sort-of a low budget affair. The rendition that played on the old Unsolved Mysteries show was great. I guess that spoiled me.

When someone in their 80s doesn't re-register, it sounds a little dyer.
