It is an established fact that Charles Allen Lechmere claimed that Robert Paul told PC Mizen that Nichols was dead.

These two witnesses did not know each other. They had no reason to lie about this, let alone to lie for each other.

Still waiting for you to provide evidence that CAL had "an obvious physical impairment or two".

And explain how a man who had "an obvious physical impairment or two" could perform the job of carman.

And explain how a man who had "an obvious physical impairment or two" could keep pace with Robert Paul, a man nearly a decade younger, as they walked together from the murder site to Paul's workplace near Spitalfield's Market?

And explain how this "obvious physical impairment or two" weren't obvious enough to be mentioned by anyone who saw CAL.

And explain how a man who had "an obvious physical impairment or two" does not match the description of anyone seen near any of the murder victims near their times of death.

Again, you ignore that Scobie was given the accusatory evidence, not the exculpatory evidence.

                All the best.
It seems that James Scobie QC also found himself unwittingly referenced in an entirely different rapper's video--a former client known as "Snap Capone," charged with beating a man to death at a petrol station, using a builder's whisk. The jury accepted the argument of self-defense and 'Capone,' who evidently has quite a following in the music world, was acquitted.

If you don't want to wade through all the gangland posturing, it's at the 8:20 mark. "A finger up to the police, a big shout-out to James Scobie."

It would seem strange that two different rappers would praise Scobie's legal acumen, but evidently Scobie has carved himself a niche as the 'go to silk' when it comes to defending gangsta rappers against murder and drug-dealing charges. Besides Trapstar Toxic and Snap Capone, other former clients include 'Incog,' Jet Black, and 'Mover' (who despite Scobie's best efforts, was convicted of stabbing a man to death during a botched mugging).

I was reading about one of Scobie's 2014 trials. He chose the strange legal strategy of telling the jury that his client, Yassin James, aged 19, was a "low-life toe rag" but "not a killer."

The jury didn't accept Scobie's defense and James was duly convicted of murder and is now in HMP Belmarsh, not eligible for release until he serves 37 years. He and his accomplices used a sawed-off shotgun and a machine gun in an attempt to kill rival gang members, but instead shot two innocent bystanders, killing a nursery school teacher who was also the mother of a small child.

Of course, even gangstas have the right to legal council, but Scobie seems to have found a peculiar niche, and no doubt a lucrative one--defending 'gangsta' rappers. He's not hiding it--his law firm advertises these 'successes' on their website.

                  Hi RJ
He has also represented the notorious Adams family from London and at least one of the lorry drivers involved in the death of 39 Chinese migrants recently.

It is starting to look like he'll do anything to be famous.

                    All the best.
I imagine it was a little embarrassing for Scobie when this video later showed up in court as evidence of his former client's drug-dealing ways.

Thanks, Darryl. One wonders how he finds the time to prosecute dangerous criminals like CAL, when he's so busy keeping these innocent folks out of prison.

                              • Me, I am wondering why it is that R J has the time to research every case Scobie has handled, but no time to answer my two questions.

Abby is spot on when speaking of the ripperological rabbit hole. But its the first time I’ ve seen a grizzly-sized rabbit…
