Well, I did grow up on a farm... But for the size of garden we are planning, the digging won't take long, or be very difficult.

I used to have a tiller, but sold it off after it had sat for several years, unused. I originally bought it to garden with here, but once the deer ate everything, I gave up gardening - except for flowers and shrubs. Lyn wants to give it a go, so I'll do my best to help her out.

Our injuries from the accident are mostly healed. I was given a conditional release last time I went to the doctor, but the factory said only an unconditional release would do.

I'll post some photos once we get started on the garden.

I'd go get a book off my shelves, but since the auto accident last October I haven't been able to concentrate on reading - At least, not for very long. I've managed to read one book in all the time I've been on medical leave. I'm used to being able to read a 300 page novel every day. Two novels that size if I didn't have anything else to do that day. I'd love to be able to sue that kid that ran into us. But that's useless - Between the lawyer fees and the insurance company wanting their money back for our medical costs, I'd have to be awarded a million in damages just to break even. I don't see that happening. Not in real life.

V, don't say no to this just yet. If the accident wasn't your fault, and the kid had insurance, there's no reason why you shouldn't - at the very least - talk to an attorney.

Most personal injury attorneys work on a contingency, where they only get paid if you recover. So you have nothing to lose by at least talking to one.
