      • Latest Ghosttrackers report for all to see!!

Paranormal Investigators, Investigating all claims of the paranormal

Exploring the paranormal is not just about ghosts! At Ghosttrackers, although it our principle aim, if presented with other paranormal events, we will use our proffesional approach to investigate and ascertain what is going on.

Last night we were met with such a challange. We had taken the old Hull to Hornsea Railway track from Tweendykes Road, to Holderness Drain, passing Sutton, and Bransholme to investigate claims of the paranormal.

The weather was fine, with no rain, wind at around 10 km/h, and average temperatures of around 16 degrees, Humidity was at around 60%, and there was slight cloud cover.
The moon was in the Waxing Gibbous Moon phase, indicating a full New Moon is due.

Along this stretch there have been numerous reports from children playing, to steam trains rumbling down the track. A white lady is said to haunt one of the bridges, and a large black cat has been seen in the fields closer to the drain.

Ghosttrackers could not ignore all the phenomena, and with this in mind the team set out with equipment to document and record any activity.

The night was fine and the moon provided much need illumination as we walked towards the bridge which forms part of Church Street in Sutton. The group posed for photo's to eneable us to ensure all the equipment was working in the field. Several of these shot's showed light anomalies and stranger still a weird blur on several images. It was difficult trying to ascertain wether this was equipment malfunction or a genuine paranormal event.

Several photo's were taken along this stretch and several of these showed light anomalies, many of which people which people will claim are insects. Luckily we caught an insect on camera, and it does not look like a ball of light!

Once out at the drain we switched on the Digi-Dictaphone and started recording with the night vision camera. We formed a circle and carried out a circle of protection. Being outdoors made it difficult to hear but we did detect some strange noises.

Moans, children, horses hooves, and several noise's like trains approaching were heard, but it was hard to establish the point of origin. One problem we had was the noise from within the boundary of Kingston upon Hull seemed to be coming across the fields.

Could this account for the noises that eyewitness have reported? After all, it is well known locally that this was a railway track at one point.

As we headed back along track the sun had fully set and the only illumination was from the moon, and the occasional light along track.

As we approached Sutton we decided to take a seat on one of the many picnic tables. It was then that we saw the strange lights.

The first of the two lights was spotted by Sam and Mike as the team took up positions in the park close to Sutton Village. The light was quite bright, but no other light's were noticed, nor was any sound detected. It appeared to travel from the South West and headed off paralellel to the group towards the North East, before vanishing.

Moments later another light, just as bright approached and headed towards the group, again from the South West heading towards the North East. As this light got closer it seemed to vanish.

1, Neither light emmitted any noise,
2, Neither light had flashing lights,
3, Neither light was travelling at speed, in fact they were quite slow,
4, Neither light re-appeared in the night sky.

A plane or helicopter would have had some, if not all of the above charectoristics, yet the lights observed did not.

Is it possible there is another explaination?

It is quite popular for garden parties to release 'Chinese Candles' into the night sky. These are like hot air ballons, but much smaller, they contain a single candle which causes the light aeroframe to ascend into the night sky. These do not travel too fast, and it could account for the light just vanishing!

At the moment we are exploring all our options, and it appears that these to aerial light anomalies, are at present unexplained!

We returned to the Church Street Bridge and as we passed we stopped to do some filming and take some photo's when animals in the vicinity went crazy! Now we had passed this spot earlier and all was well, yet this time something up on the embankment caused the animals to go crazy!
This unsettled the group, who moved further away to gather their composure and gain some insight into what was there. Several pictures were taken and again anomalies were detected, but the strangest event was caught on camera. The night vision camera could not focus, leaving us with a blank screen, then several of the team noticed a light in the distance flashing. Several of the street lights seemed to be drained of energy and members of the group reported seeing a large hooded figure in black!

For a moment we were bombarded with activity, from noises to strange lights and even figures!
We left the area, still recording and closed it down once reaching the vehicles.

The footage is being looked at, the still's are being poured over, and the Digi-Dictaphone is being listened to.
        Regards Mike

        • Freedom's Flame

Every April a bunch of Scottish patriots gather on Drumssie Moor at midnight on the eve of the annivesary of Cullloden. There by torchlite, they hold a ceremony of remembrance at the cairn. In 2005, after the torches had burnt out, they were walking off the battlefield in darkness. One man spoke aloud, "Do you think the men that lie beneath our feet appreciate that we come here every year?" Seconds later- the torches all burst into flame!
" ON A HOT SUMMERS NITE, WOULD YOU OFFER YOUR THROAT TO WITH THE RED ROSES ?"

          • This is a link to the Sylvia Liken house in Indiana. It's the big two-story house across the open lot. Some young folks made this and it's posted on the TAPS forum and, of course on youtube. I know a lot of fakey stuff shows up online. Since Sylvia was tortured to death and since this is supposed to be a paranormal video, I thought I'd post it and see what you all thought of it. It's very jerky in parts. The kid who posted it swears the house is unoccupied, or that no one is supposed to be living there. It is boarded up, though it looks like there could be access through the basement. There is definitely something strange going on in several spots on this film. Watch the upper left window carefully and also the other windows, on the far side, as they move around the house. It's interesting. I thought the resident paranormal expert might like to take a look at it, too. I've watched it several times and keep seeing new things.

              • Which group? Surely not your group?

I know there are some who don't like the GHI, which I think is silly.

Apparently, there is a movie about the murder of Sylvia Liken. This little video was done by some local teens. The one who posted it said the area, today, is a rough one. This was posted on a thread on the TAPS forum.

This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Celesta, the kid was saying that Ghosttrackers had not lived upto his expectations! A few people jumped to our defence. What he doesnt realise is that Sam has just gone through a rough divorce, Jo's mum was ill and Jo had to fly to Guernsey. And Susan and I got our wedding vows blessed!

                                Hi, Mike,

Being interested in and having experienced such 'paranormality' myself, I nipped over to 'James's site' to see what all the fuss was about. Shame on you and your team for not running things the way he would have liked!

Anyway, if I might be forgiven for hi-jacking this thread for a moment, my brother and his wife have recently moved out of a house that would have been right up your street, in Crossgates, actually, just outside Scarborough.

The house, as far as I understand, was of 'sixties build located in a typical suburban style development of that era. It was rumoured that the infamous Maxine Carr had, for a while, been secreted to a property backing on to their rear garden.

The previous owner had vacated the property hastily, leaving behind in his wake a whole lot of mess through unfinished projects. Apparently, the house had been through a string of successive owners, and (according to one neighbour) was the only one in the street which had been most frequently placed on the market.

Within a few days of moving in, the reasons for its apparently high 'unsale-ability' became quite apparent. Doors and drawers began opening and slamming shut at all times of day and night for no apparent reason. Kitchen utensils and other implements would be thrown across the room, and heavy footsteps could be heard stomping around upstairs. On several occasions, my brother and his wife would be awoken at night to find their bed being shaken violently (and for all the wrong reasons, too!). Perhaps worse of all was the sound of two voices, apparently arguing, heard in the bathroom while one would be 'taking a number'. The disturbances bore all the hallmarks of classic poltergeist activity.

Funnily enough, the disturbances would increase in volume and frequency if any reaction was shown. The voices in the bathroom would sound hostile, almost reaching fever pitch. Just discussing matters between themselves had a great effect, or even talking about them to me over the 'phone. It is for this reason I was stalled from making visits as my brother knew I would have shown an over-keen interest in the activities. According to him, I would have made matters a whole lot worse for them!

They placed the property back on the market almost immediately, but it took the best part of three years to sell on. When it was sold, they took the money and scarpered, so to speak!

Whilst I am more curious than anybody to find out more about the haunting, my brother is still very reluctant to discuss details.

                                Steve
