Well Jonathon, I sure hope you get Patricia Cornwell on the podcast. That would be a really interesting show, especially depending on who else is on the panel. And for the record, I don't think the podcast is "rinky-dink" at all. I love the show!

And Phillip, I agree it would be an honor to be invited on the show. I'd love to be on it, but that would beg the question of exactly what I'd bring to the show. That would be a hard pressed question to answer. But I'll keep trying.

    Thanks Jeff,

I did send the email to ICM about 3 weeks ago, before these threads heated up. But yes, the slightest chance will be best once the new edition of her book comes out.

There will be a show specifically on each victim, so yes, there will be a Kelly show. Her show is not currently on the calendar, but things change day to day with the podcasts.

I try my hardest to avoid talking publicly about future guests (the unliklihood of Cornwell being a rare exception) until they have confirmed and it is really a "go", so forgive me for dodging your query about the excellent author, researcher and gentleman, Neal Stubbings Sheldon.

As far as other serial killer cases, Rippercast will try to keep its focus on the late Victorian Period. So, no, I don't envision this show branching out to cover 'Jack the Stripper'. I'd love to talk Crippen, btw, but then we'd have to change the name of the podcast or start another one all together. Rippercast has done one show on the Thames Torso murders, we'll do Klosowski's, and other suspects who have committed crimes will have their careers examined as well.

Thanks again for your compliments and support of the show.

Perhaps you should wait until the time is right..which isnt now..there are people who could contact her dirrectly...

In the mean time can I congratulate you and reassure anyone reading that there is nothing 'Rinky tink' about them...a regular Monday morning in the bath brilliant

Can I ask if there is a Kelly episode?

Will you have Neal shelden on?

Will you tackle any other serial killers? Hammersmith Nude murders?

    Ace show

Well, I don't think she's afraid of criticism, because that sort of conflict sells books. She'd love that. I think most likely, although I could be wrong, since the podcast is free, and no money is given to any guest is the reason she's not participating. She wants to be paid for her time. I'm glad none of the guests of the podcast are paid. It shows true love for the mystery surrounding Jack the Ripper, and a more passionate discussion. Keep trying for Ms. Cornwell. It would be quite the coup to have her on the show. I just won't hold my breath.
I believe the obvious reason why I have not heard from Patricia Cornwell is that the only request I've made has been to her agent's NYC office, International Creative Management. This company represents thousands of individuals world-wide and I'd be very surprised if my email even reaches Ms. Cornwell. She has not refused to participate. I did make the comment on another thread, however, that she might refuse for the simple reason that I requested her to be on a 'Jack the Ripper' podcast. Which she might find "rinky-dink".

Patty Cornwell and Stewart Evans would be a great debate. Two peas in a podcast.

Frogg Moody was an excellent guest, and to listen to the banter between him and Paul Begg was magic!

A great show, one to download and keep!

    Top bloke

    Ben

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Frogg at Wolves during a talk and speaking to him outside the hotel.

He is a wonderfully interesting guy whose knowledge of the offbeat side to the era is totally compelling.

My chat with him was a pleasure, bet the podcast reflects that.

    An enjoyable podcast!

I was particularly fascinated to learn of Frogg's play on the Titanic McNamees since it was my research into Titanic's passengers that indirectly precipitated my interest in the Whitechapel murders (W.T. Stead and Revd. Carter being the obvious "links").
