    Episode #20

    Hi all,

The podcast will be delayed and might not be released until tomorrow.

But you're in for a treat...

Episode #20 - The Ripper Scribes

With Martin Fido, Paul Begg & Chris Scott.

With the usual Rippercast crew, this time joined again by Prof. Lavaughn Towell.

It was another marathon show that'll be well worth the wait!

    Stay Tuned,

    JM

(For our US friends, Lee Evans is a UK stand up comic noted for talking too much and a streak of clumsiness - sounds much more me!! Oh, and he sweats a lot, but I'm not taking the analogy that far...!)

Thanks, JM, I'll give it a go.

It's going to be interesting hearing Chris's voice. I'm expecting him to have the voice of an English Lee Marvin, but I bet he hasn't!

Finally I got to hear Chris Scott. I have not read or heard of him being interviewed anywhere. Great.
    Next is SPE?
Or a RJPalmer - Dan Norder debate. Or maybe not.

    Hi Philip,

I uploaded the last few episodes to the public folder this morning so they should be there. I've just now numbered the shows so they are a bit easier to locate. Please let me know that you can get them.

    Thanks,

    JM

    Hey Chris,

Listened to the podcast today and it was great. You have a vast knowledge and are a true asset to the field. Great research. The podcast was very enjoyable and interesting to listen to... I put it in my ipod and listened on my bike and walking around the city..

If you want someone else for your list, you can try Jacob Cohen. Me and Chris Phillips have had no luck in finding him.

    Hi Ben
You are absoluely right! The Evans listed in the WUI register is given as 20 years old.
I'll put it down to old age!
The Rippercast was great fun to do and I'm glad you enjoyed it
    Regards
    Chris

    Really enjoyed this one!

Quick question for Chis. Wasn't it eventually decided that the "James Evans" of unsound mind living in Royal Mint Street was 20 years old, and thus not 28-year-old Joseph Fleming? It might have had something to do with the registrar's handwriting.

    All the best,
    Ben

    Hi All,

I encourage everyone to tune in to episode #19 of Rippercast, with special guest Chris Scott. You'll be amazed at the breadth of knowledge he has of the case and this discussion with Paul Begg, Robert McLaughlin and myself should either confirm or renew the respect you have of Chris and all the information he gathers and shares freely with the Casebook community.

    What an awesome episode!

Look for it in the next few hours on www.rippernet.com, in your podcast grabber, or in the iTunes Music Store/Podcasts kw: Jack the Ripper.

We thank Chris Scott for being on the show today!

    Listen and enjoy,

    JM
