I thought it sounded pretty good. There were a few instances where John Bennett sounded a little like R2-D2, but even then you could figure out what he was saying. Compliments to Jonathen for the work he did in getting the podcast in audible form.
Hats off to Jonathan for salvaging my podcast - despite the occasional interference, the sound quality for the first half sounds super.
The second half sounds like I was sitting in a garden shed; not JM's fault as I had to swap from a normal computer to a laptop, but we got an hour's worth.
That will be a good show, best get some questions sorted for Neil, "So Neil, what have you got to say about Phil Hutchinsons shorts?" will be my opener!!
And my answer would be stylish if a little too short.

Sorry for the delay with this week's podcast. Technical problems arose, never quite went away, and then family obligations today (or rather yesterday) had to take front seat to producing this episode.
Anyhow...
The East Ender: John Bennett and a Photographic History of the East End is now available, so, you know the drill...

PM me with any problems and I'll aid you in getting the episode.
We all wish to thank John Bennett for being on twice to get this episode in the can, and despite the audio difficulties you may encounter...
I hope you listen and enjoy!

PS- I'll go ahead and announce- This Sunday's show will be Catherine Eddowes for the hour, with special guest Neil Bell. So get your Kate or Neil questions in before 7pm UK time Sunday.
I wanted it as the final question on every show regardless of the guest,
"So what do you think of Phil's shorts?" but seeing as the summer has finally hit the uk (only 1 year late) I too am wearing shorts, but there will be no, I repeat NO photo's of my legs appearing anywere!!
Yes unfortunately the first go round was brilliant, flawless sound, every amusing anecdote on display and my questions were brilliant...I've definitely lost the chance for a Peabody here. And none of it recorded...sigh.
The second go round was plagued with sound difficulties. Oh well. What can you do. Except blame Bennett.
