Isn't Cat Stevens on the terror watch list?

He was denied entry to the United States in 2004, and returned to the U.K., due to being flagged on a "No Fly List" following 9-11.
Cat believed his name Yusuf Islam was confused with someone else with a different spelling, and requested his name be removed.
It was established that the person on the list Youssef Islam.
In 2006, Cat was allowed entry to the US via airplane.

Its all a real joke. All of it. Congress is a joke. The President is a joke. The media is a joke. The punch-lines are usually deadly terrorist attacks, mass shootings, a suicide bomber. Our leaders are all bound by their respective ideologies, shackled by a lack of intellect and immense incompetence. Each media outlet abets whichever ideology to which they subscribe. Bias is pervasive and has become standard operating procedure (but it must be denied at all costs). It's a predictable cycle:

Silly, incompetent, ego maniacal Obama is elected president.

Religious, ego maniacal fools from the political right are elected to Congress.

Ego maniacal, thin-skinned, maybe insane Donald Trump leads in Republican polls.

Lying, corrupt, ego maniacal untrustworthy liar Hillary Clinton leads in Democrat polls.

A new group of greedy, ego maniacal lying idiots will be elected to Congress next year.

What could go wrong?

Id say the real joke is that a few days ago Senate Republicans overwhelmingly blocked a gun control measure that would have prevented individuals on the terror watch list from legally buying guns in the US. They voted on it one day after the San Bernardino shootings.

I think it was "no credible terror threats" in the United States. (If it makes a difference, I don't know.) I don't recall hearing anything about ISIS being contained, though they did assure us that Syrian refugees would be properly vetted for safety.
Thank God their pipe bombs (or "explosive device", as I've also heard it called) failed to go off, or we'd be talking about a much higher casualty rate.
(Not that fourteen innocent Americans were not enough.)

Obama did say ISIS was contained, but the context was with respect to their expansion in the middle-east, they are not expanding anymore.
ISIS are in a defensive mode in Syria and Iraq.

The pipe bombs were not made without a plan to be used.

The gun issue is thrown out there to thwart any real dealing with the issue at hand. It's a wild goose chase to avoid the real issue which is not being addressed.

After the Paris attacks we were told that Isis was contained. They were aware of no terror threats within our country. That the administration should be so blind is frightening.

There were no assualt weapons used in San Bernardino. Those were semi-autos. One had a high capacity magazine and one was attempted to be modified to full auto but the modification didn't work. They pulled the trigger for each and every shot.

Right now the issue IS about terrorists. California has the strictest gun laws in the country.

The people killed in this case were killed by Muslim extremists.

Still I have received no answer about the pipe bombs, which terrorists are using in every country they are 'jihading' in, liberally.

No they were killed by bullets out of assault weapons fired by people, again without assault weapons capable of firing multiple shots with one pull of the trigger those people would have had a suckers chance.

And about 90% of those killed in Pars were killed by guns, 100% of those killed in California were killed by guns, so what about Pipe bombs?
