sounds to me like they dont want the duty and responsibilities of being a royal, yet they want the fame and fortune. and to go on TV and bitch about it. the whole thing is rather silly, but thats the world we live in. sigh

oh and MM dosnt get along with her own family so no surprise shes not gonna get along with her in laws. lol

          Spot on, Abby.

The couple’s marriage cert was made public today. An official from the GRO said he thought Meghan may have been ‘confused’ about whether the rehearsal/private exchange of vows in their garden or the ceremony at Windsor was their actual wedding.

I think the world is divided into those who think this sort of thing is a load of old codswallop and those who don’t. Can you guess which category I’m in?

The Duke of Sussex said he hoped to be able to use his own experiences using the “the power of transforming pain into purpose” to help BetterUp’s clients with “proactive coaching” for personal development, as well as achieve “an all-round better life”

Is this the guy who wasn’t able to help his wife?

Yes that’s the bloke Gary. He couldn’t put her in a car and drive her to a psychiatrist or a counsellor. The evil Royal Family apparently knew that they had a suicidal family member on their hands but forbade her any treatment because of the potential bad publicity. Not concerned in the slightest of course that any bad publicity might ensue from a Royal suicide.

"a $1bn (£730m) Silicon Valley startup which provides professional coaching, mental health advice and “immersive learning” [...]. The Duke of Sussex said he hoped to be able to “create impact in people’s lives” by working with BetterUp to provide “proactive coaching” for personal development, increased awareness and “an all-round better life”."

Sounds like a right old pile off Hippie-sh*t to me (sorry to all you hippies out there. I love you all to bits, but I wouldn't hire you as my business consultants....)

btw, C.D. Has this thread provided you with the kind of insights that you were looking for?

                        Cheers.

One of the ‘racist’ headlines about Meghan said something about her speaking a different language. The language in question was ‘hippy-sh*t’.

“Listening to it, I began to suspect something. The main reason so many British people struggle to see eye-to-eye with Meghan – well, aside from the whole “quitting the Royal family” thing – is the language she uses. Sadly, we just don’t understand her. Because she doesn’t speak English. She speaks Californian.

It’s a curious language, Californian. Essentially, it’s like a hippie version of corporate management-speak: schmaltzy gushing mixed with robotic jargon. It’s the language of people who are perpetually boasting about how “humbled” they are. And there appears to be nothing on earth they aren’t “passionate” and “excited” about, or “empowered” and “inspired” by.”

                              From the Daily Telegraph.

im an east coast guy through and through and i can tell you having known and met many (tie)dyed in the wool californians they are definitely NOT the cool, laid back stereotype. tjey may want to project that image but its bs. they are some of the most uptight, conceited, and arrogant people i have ever met in my life. even the surfers now are dicks.

my aunt whos a die hard san francisco old hippy said this when i asked her why californians are so cocky:
"northern californians look down on southern californians and southern californians look down on everyone else. its because we know we live in the best place on earth." LOL! true story.

if felt like saying best place on earth? your the serial killer, natural disaster and fakeness capital of the world!!! but since shes my aunt on my wifes side i decided not to.
