I think that there should be a ‘suspect-who-wasn’t-even-in-the-country-at-the-time-of-the-murders’ category.

I’d ignored the GSG as I was just thinking letters. Good point. I’d rate the GSG more likely than the letters. Still a toss-up though.

Sickert would win that category with Ostrog a strong contendet!

We also have Van Gogh in Arles and Cream in prison in Chicago (and someone still wrote a book proposing him)

Yes, GSG counts - that was almost going to be my nomination but I thought Lusk was a hair ahead.

                    I’d forgotten him Al

Im still awaiting the book where someone nominates someone that died before the murders began.

You didn't see the series his distant relative made? Where every most remote coincidence proved he was JTR? They even exhumed Holmes bones!

Show me evidence that Sickert was out of the country when the murders of Nichols . Chapman , Stride , Eddowes , Kelly where committed .

As we all know, the Royal Conspiracy/Knight/Sickert Theory is baseless nonsense. Enjoyable and entertaining yes, a valid theory....no. A theory can’t remain plausible when so many of its basic tenets have been so thoroughly dismissed. The fact that someone might still attach substance to it is a testament to wish-thinking.
Totally untrue as per usual from someone who refuses to allow any theory but his own . Im sure you read the last post in ''Chapman death'' thread , now you know i was right about the cutting of her throat dont you .And how ridiculous the thought that the ripper made the noise codosch claimed... onward and upward. Only people who have not researched knights work properly are lost to understand its complexity . That would be you .

I nearly broke my jaw watching that program. It kept hitting the floor.

Firstly.......I don’t have a theory. I stand by my posts.
Secondly.....every post that you made on the Chapman thread was thoroughly and easily rebutted as biased nonsense. TOD 5.25-5.30 beyond all reasonable doubt.......no more on Chapman though as this isn’t the topic of the thread.
Thirdly......Knight’s work has been thoroughly researched and rebutted. This is why you appear to be the only person in the world that supports the theory.

If you have new evidence that none of us are aware of which exonerates the Knight/Sickert theory please feel free provide it (not here though....you are free to begin a new thread) I’m sure that the world of Ripperology would be keen to hear your revelations. I seem to recall asking you over 10 times to back up your claim that you could prove that Simon Wood’s research was wrong but, unsurprisingly, you just ignored the request or tried to change the subject.

If you and a couple of others stuck to posting based on logic, reason and the evidence rather than on a combination of theory-based bias and a personal dislike of me then threads might not get derailed and closed.
