Good picks for Dylan as well.. the first is very underrated and the second contains perhaps his voice at its best (if he ever had a best that is!) Oh Mercy is very good if you havent heard it.

Cat Stevens is IMHO one of this country's greatest songwriters.

Wow, I thought I might be the first to answer with some metal albums, but I was wrong. So, here goes with a few of my favorites (not all metal):

Metallica: Everything but Load, Reload, and St. Anger (I do like some of the stuff on those though)
Overkill: Taking Over, The Years of Decay, Feel the Fire, From the Underground and Below, and KIllbox 13.
Brainstorm: Liquid Monster and Soul Temptation
Testament: The New Order and The Gathering
Weird Al Yankovic: Dare to Be Stupid and Weird Al Yankovic In 3D
          Judas Priest: Painkiller

I'd go half and half on Load--half good, half crap. "St. Anger" had some great songs, but crappy performance, coupled with the worst drum sound in history.

Overkill: Taking Over, The Years of Decay, Feel the Fire, From the Underground and Below, and KIllbox 13.
            What? No "Necroshine"? For shame!

Testament: The New Order and The Gathering
I prefer "The Ritual", but NWO is good.

Weird Al Yankovic: Dare to Be Stupid and Weird Al Yankovic In 3D
            :
Weird Al rocks--I actually prefer some of his original stuff over the parodies--especially on "Even Worse".

Woohoo another metalhead! Painkiller is seriously one of the most perfect metal albums around I believe, it's just sublime. The Gathering by Testament is awesome too, love that album! St Anger was ok in bits, but I agree with the sentiment it has the worst drum sound ever.

I'd recommend the following, if you aren't already aware of them :

                      Opeth: Damnation, Deliverence, Watershed
Sentenced: Frozen, A Cold White Light
                      Lacuna Coil: Comalies
                      Paradise Lost: Symbol Of Life
                      Amorphis: Tuonela

                        Hello Magpie!

Kiitoksia Tuonelasta! (=thanks for Tuonela! )

Since I've got loads of favourite albums, I'll have to choose one blind-folded...
                        ´
                        And the winner is (ta-damm!):

                        The Rolling Stones: Aftermath...

                        Oh-oh...

                        All the best

No problem Jukka! Finland has some great bands at the moment--Children of Bodom and H.I.M. Stratovarius and of course the mighty Nightwish. But Amorphis is not only the grandpappy of them all, but they also have the most "Finnish" influences, musically and lyrically.

Well You just made me a happy man!
For ages now I thought I was the only Within Temptation fan in the UK.every time I extoll their brilliance to others all I get back is "who?".Sharon Den Adel has the most amazing voice,in my opinion. And just bought Lacuna Coil album, Shallow Life, love it.Other bands I really enjoy include Evanescence, Paramore,Delain and Flyleaf. On the subject of Finnish bands as well as Nightwish (especially with Tarja) and Children Of Bodom add to the list Katra, their song Beast Within Is excellent.
