One way to have proved it, would have been to request Paul Feldmanīs passport from the Home Office as he is dead. Unfortunatelly unless its a probate matter, the Home Office wonīt release it. Otherwise, I would have done that to prove that Feldman did go to Australia, like Peter and I heard it. Iīm sure there must be anoter way, if I can think of anything else to prove it, I will do it.

As I said, it did occurr to me to ask the Home Office under the Freedom of Information Act for Feldmanīs Passport to prove what Peter and I heard but Feldman being in Australia but this is not possible at all, unless it is an old historic record.

So we have to think about another way of proving this. Another way, would be to ask his widow to release all of Feldmanīs passports that would be another method to settle this. I believe Steve has Feldmanīs old address if his widow still lives there, perhaps if you ask her, she might be willing to co-operate ?

Yes Maria, this could very well be another way .. one would need to very tactful though, considering 'the why' .. the information is needed.

I shall wait to hear your translation of Steve's spanish words to us both ..
I have no other language than english .. but I can roughly translate some
of it in my head, to realise that it is complimentary.

Thank you for the translation .. nice poem.
What stands out for me here is the line "The Passion Of Truth".
That is what I have felt about Steve, in regard to this diary saga,
as I have said before here .. when you know the truth of something,
you want to 'shout it from the rooftops' .. hence his passion in following
this through, against the odds. He was always one to want to put things right.
Caz made some comment to him like, "how many books do you think
you will sell" .. she is missing the point .. it is not about book sales, he doesn't expect
to 'make his fortune' from the book, it is about putting the whole story together ..
the truth as he knows it, some things can be verified .. some may not.
The public can make up their own minds.
Possibly there may be new developments, I know he has been researching and checking things.
Caz may well be surprised .. people recognise truth and it does have it's reward.

Of course Caz is missing the point because she can only see it from her own point of view. She knows perfectly well this is a hoax but she doesnīt mind conning the public, so long as it sells, it doesnīt matter to her if its her grand-mother she is selling.

Of course there is a way of knowing more about Feldman I have already given Stephen contact numbers and will give him more. At the moment, we have just purchased a 600 year old house with a lot of history in it which needs to be done up with curators and archeologists who are excited and fascinated by it and canīt wait to start the survey. Plus, I have opened an office in Madrid with my Spanish cases, so Iīm preparing to travel there on the 21st of this month and I have no idea when I will be back.

How about if you and I do this in private to have a plan to work on ? this will be best than doing so in public.

we don't have such history here ... not even many 200 year
old buildings. My house is relatively new, by comparison ..
only 108 years old.

Money is not the only possible motive. Sometimes it is horribly hard to extricate yourself from a situation, especially if were convinced of your position and told that with vigour.
I'd give people the benefit of the doubt, "it's all about money" says more of your preconceptions and not necessarily something about the person you are talking about.
Mr. Omlor, would you even allow Keith Skinner to state that he was wrong without you gloating over it?
The big problem I see with this whole discussion is the fact that it works like it were a contest, not a reasonable discourse that allows participants to say "sorry, been wrong".
