I think UFO Files did a segment on that 1991 case about a year ago. It was very bizarre with multiple and credible witnesses. The show covered several airline pilot sightings.

Did you see the program that has been running on Discovery, where the photographer tried to duplicate the pictures that people took during a number of sightings? I didn't catch, or don't remember, the name of the program. It was pretty interesting.

Hi Stan, Mike, and Celeste,

It has been one boring six weeks. Like a drought that went on and on, but has finally been stopped. Of course now I have to catch up with everyone.

I did one constructive thing - with my autographs. I collected all my autographed books and letters from authors and put them in one place. This way I can readily catch onto them. The only one that I have who is relevant to the actual meaning of this thread is Philip Glass, the U.F.O. skeptic. He wrote a response to one letter from me that has to do with Daniel Cohen's book about the Airship of 1896/97, and he autographed one of his books for me (U.F.O.: THE PUBLIC DECEIVED). However, I have not been active enough watching the history and discovery channels about U.F.O. programs.

So I will follow the discussion between the three of you for awhile, until I have something really useful to add.

Cel - I don't think I saw that show unless it was on a long time ago. There was one some time back where they were showing how this guy made a film of a "saucer" that was in a string that he was swinging around from the end of a fishing pole. Do you remember any details of the program that might refresh my memory?

Jeff - Was Glass one of the guys who debunks UFOs on TV? There are a couple of these chaps who I've seen on several of the flying saucer shows but I don't recall their names.

It's a fairly recent show. A guy tried to duplicate what the witnesses photographed but couldn't get the same effects. Close but not the same. I'm sorry I just didn't see the name of it. They'll show it again.

I don't know if Philip Klass (not Glass, sorry) has become a debunking talking head on television. It would not surprise me if he did. His books are quite readable.

Philip Glass is a musician, Philip Klass is a UFO guy, both are nice guys.

I have a couple of Klass's books and in one he looks at the Roswell Incident. A very wise , well written man.
