I thought that Rob and Phil would have made enough off the first edition to buy adjoining properties in Cavalaire-sur-mer. Non? OK, then I'll buy the second edition.

GM, we got a small advance and that was it. We've not been paid royalties on anything from 2008 - a condition of reprinting was that we take copies of the book at authors' discount in lieu of royalties. I can sell them on my tours but in fact in the early stages I will be quids down, as I'll be taking Rob's copies off him (not having an outlet for them). For most of us, writing books gives a return for the labour under the minimum wage.
PHILIPTour guides do it loudly in front of a crowd.

PHILIP
Maybe you could sort of 'smuggle' some copies over to America for free in the luggage of Conference attendees?
(Because I guess it would be a bit cruel to force them to physically swallow a number of books in order to serve as your "mule" )
Congrats again to you & Rob.
Best regards, Archaic

I have not received a PM from you. Try again, or just email me at lacassagne@email.com as I'm not worried about being spammed at this address.
Cheers,
