Just finished reading"mortal error" makes a very strong case of the last shot coming by accident from secret service agent Hickeys ar15 assault rifle by accident of course.I think the whole thing about J.F.K is that the American people find it hard to except that a giant was felled by such a small insignificant loon like Oswald. The British try to make jack the ripper into a killer who might have been a famous well known person or even a prince we even try to give him superhuman powers .We seem to think that because the crime is so great that they must have been carried out by great people instead of small insignificant people.Something else that has not been mentioned over the past few weeks is that how easy and how cheap it was for a loon like Oswald to purchase a lethal fire arm but you can't mention anything about gun control because it's a major infringement of civil liberties.

Just want to put my tuppenny worth in. Sometimes the simplest explanation is more likely to be the truth than anything complicated, and I have been quite happy to believe that Oswald acted alone until I decided to read more about the case. What disturbs me is that there is not one piece of evidence that has not been tampered with. Even the autopsy photos were doctored and staged. The car was tampered with before the official photos were taken, statements were changed and photos confiscated. Witness's were also eliminated from the Warren report and even the evidence of the bullets was inconsistent . Oswald, himself, was conveniently shot before he made any formal statement. The whole story and the way the investigation was handled is very strange.
However, I think that what the first post on this thread was trying to say, IMO, that despite the amount of evidence available on this case,(and to many it still remains unsolved,) what chance does the Ripper case have when it happened 75 years earlier with very little evidence to go on?
Comparing the two cases, other than that, is silly, though, because they are entirely different.Last edited by Amanda Sumner; 12-06-2013, 04:12 PM.

Compared to Stephen Knight’s retelling of an old man’s discredited fairy story.
You do realise don’t Fishy that you are the only person that believes in Knight? Do you understand that? You criticise someone as respected as Bugliosi and praise someone as universally derided as Knight.
Its like rubbishing Stephen Hawking whilst at the same time praising David Icke. Come to think of it though I bet your bookshelves are groaning under the weight of David Icke’s books?Regards

REMEMBERED WHAT I SAID ''IF IT DOESN'T AGREE WITH EXPERIMENT ITS A LIE'' . THE BEST SNIPERS IN THE LAST FIFTY YEARS STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO DUPLICATE WAS OSWALD DID. SO DONT KID YOURSELF. IT WASN'T OSWALD.

from the most in depth book in the history of true crime. One that took the biggest part of twenty years to research and write. One that was researched and written by one of the world’s most respected prosecutors.'It doesn't matter how beautiful your theory is. It doesn't matter how smart you are . Do you actually read your posts?
Do you know what irony is?
You believe in a theory that was disproven in the 70’sRegards

Three shots. One completely missed. One hit Kennedy in the back when he’d have been aiming for the head. Then one head shot. Only 1 and a half hits out of three. Not great shooting but it got the job done.
. EDDOWES ....... SOUNDS FAMILIAR RIGHT .:lol
Show me the absolute, indisputable, agreed upon evidence that the ripper couldn’t have done what he did. Show me where no one disputes that he couldn’t have done it. Not one doctor or even two. No cherry-picking.
