If there was a time machine and we could have them all in their prime; My All Time Rock And Roll Band:

    1-Drums-John Bonham(Led Zeppelin)
    2-Keyboards-Jerry Lee Lewis
    3-Bass-Jack Bruce(Cream)
    4-Guitar-Pete Townshend(The Who)
    5-Vocals-Richard Ashcroft(The Verve)

Until the time machine is invented, this is the best we have right now(Full screen, full volume and headphones recommended!)

This my opinion and to the best of my knowledge, that is, if I'm not joking.

Late to it- but the found Gillette Sherlock Holmes is very real. Getting a blu-ray release on October 20th.

This point is becoming rather esoteric, isn't it?

Pity it was only a silent movie. Gillette had a distinguished (if light) voice. It would have been equally interesting if a film of his best known non-Sherlock play, "Dear Brutus" by James Barrie, was found, with the original cast. That play introduced a very young Helen Hayes to the American stage.

I considered both Moon and McCartney

4-Guitar- ok this one is HARD.. so many great players.....but I would have to go with Dave Davies (The Kinks--Great hook riffs and fun leads) and as a rythym guitarist Steve Cropper ( of Booker T and the MG's and the Stax House Band)
5-Vocals- Noddy Holder (Slade) let's face it.. his voice could shatter glass

Add Eric and George on guitars

There are two ways to be fooled, one is to believe what isn't true, the other is to refuse to believe that which is true.

Ok. This would be amazing but would put in Peter Green at guitar in place of Davies.

I think Peter Green is more blues. I'd have Page for rock.

I certainly considered Page among several others, even going all the way back to Duane Eddy.
