If you were a fan of the Civil War documentary, I highly recommend Co. Aytch by Sam Watkins. It was the Rebel diary they kept citing from in the series. A great look at what the war was like from the perspective of a Rebel private.

I certainly don’t dislike small dogs, it’s just the yapping.
To be fair, it's just about the only way they can say "I'm down HERE! Don't step ('tread') on me!"
Sort of like snakes, which are even MORE abused.

Those labels at the back of the collars of T shirts - the ones that sometimes turn to rough plastic after a wash or two and scratch the neck. Although most seem to be made differently and better these days, thank goodness!

The cost of everyday food is insane. My fiancé and I work 4 days a week each, he does 8 hour shifts+, so together we work full time. We kept wondering what the hell was happening to our finances and as it turns out it's literally just food shopping. We don't eat out, we rarely eat take-aways, we never go to pubs, we don't buy expensive food. It's abominable. Both working and still having to ask parents for moneyHorse doctor more like.
