  • "Slim Fit" clothing. An absolutely horrible fashion trend in my opinion. I don't think anybody looks good in it especially men. I see men in skinny fit jeans who obviously think they are killing it but to me it makes them look like they have pipe cleaner legs. And a slim fit suit on a man looks like he was poured into it and it seems that they are always fighting against it as it does not drape naturally on the body.

I understand fashion trends but what is really annoying is that it seems like every damn thing now is slim fit.

Just his hair? I think you're letting him off lightly!

            • Idiots on the internet taking every comment I write to literal extremes and then assuming I'm stupid. I hate low-context readers.

                • That reminds me of a question I have for my friends across the pond. Saw a show on all these young people in the UK who have an app on their phone that basically lets them get instant loans. They use it constantly for bar hopping and good times. Needless to say the interest rates are extremely high and a good number of people are in debt up to their eyeballs. Is this really common?

There’ll be a ‘commenting online tax’ soon Tani. It’s any excuse to get cash from us. I’m surprised that they haven’t tried re-introducing the Window Tax.

I tend to think that it is c.d. Many people pay by just scanning their phones and banks don’t actually discourage people from taking loans or using (or increasing) their overdraft facility. I know next to nothing about finance because it’s not a subject that interests me but debt is a problem especially with the young. We were all younger once can we honestly say that we would have avoided debt if someone gave us an account with an overdraft? To the young, ‘affordable’ means that you have the means to buy something and nothing to do with whether you should or not.
