The "very Little change" is still high enough for me to wanting to get myself and my family vaccinated.

No one ever said that the disease is spread by the vaccinated exclusively. You are using the oldest discussion trick in the world, exaggerate your opponents point and the attack the exaggeration. The facts are that you are MUCH MORE LIKELY to spread the disease when you are NOT vaccinated. First of all, you are less likely to get it in the first place and when you do, your symptoms are less severe and your breathing/coughing will create les of a viral load.

Ah, I see we are copying and pasting from Rand Paul's website now (sigh). Ok. So NOTHING in medicine is 100%. do you understand this VERY important part or not? The various vaccines that are out there are between 60 and 90% effective. So no, it does not PREVENT the transmision of Covid, it only GREATLY REDUCES covid transmission.

Celee, this is SO wrong, this it total and complete BULLSHIT. I'm scared to ask you for a source because I'm worried this actually exists. Bottomline: there is NO equivalence. Do you want me to provide you with Data?

Total Bullshit. According to CDC data from December 2021, vaccinated people are 9 times more likely to be hospitalised and 14 times more likely to die. there is an article on the BBC and they helpfully provide sources for their data (unlike you) which makes them a trustworthy source of information in general (unlike you): https://www.bbc.com/news/59757395. Will you read the article and either retract your statement or provide the source for YOUR statement so we can examine it?

WFT? How many people died from taking th evaccine in the US vs. the 850,000 people who died from Covid. You REALLY need to provide a source here.

30,000? WOW! Unbelievable. I mean, LITERALLY unbelievable. what's your source on that?

So, why get a shot that does not prevent the spread of the virus. Does not prevent illness even death from the virus and a booster is required every three months. Remember the virus has a 99% survival rate for most people. If the vaccine prevented the spread of the virus more people would get the jab. It should be mentioned that the vaccine does have side effects and has proven deadly for some. So, like I posted before I do not have the answers but treating honest people with legitimate concerns like garbage is not the answer.
When someone goes to see a Doctor and the Doctor gives them a diagnosis and suggests treatment how many of them say “no. I’m afraid that I disagree with you on that so I’ll completely ignore your advice?” How many people, on an a potentially life threatening thing like this, would refuse a vaccine because they think that it might be ineffective despite what experts tell us? They have nothing to lose so why not just have it?

Why is it that people with zero medical or scientific knowledge feel qualified to tell the worlds experts that they are wrong? This is clearly a case of people listening to silly conspiracy theories on the net (with a few people who are just scared of needles thrown in)

. If the vaccine prevented the spread of the virus more people would get the jab
The jab has significantly slowed down the spread of the virus. I know this because the experts tell us this and I have no reason to disbelieve them. That effort has been retarded by selfish, gullible people refusing to get vaccinated and selfish people who haven’t followed guidelines. As soon as the pandemic began the conspiracy theories started. These people cause more harm than pandemics.

So my gut feeling is that Teachers should have a mandate to be vaccinated so schools can remain open in a safer way. Teachers spend all day with small children, many of whom are not yet able to get a vaccine and therefore are more likely ro get infected themselves and take the infections baxk to their families. If all school staff were vaccinated, there would be a smaller chance of infections spreading at schools. Also , teachers themselves would be less likely to become ill and having to take days off work because they are in bed with the flu. So the vaccine is needed to keep schools open and to keep them open more safely (and the following part now is important) IM THE MIDDLE OF THE WORST PUBLIC HEALTH CRISIS IN A CENTURY.

In fact, I believe the entire NCR recommendations (https://nrckids.org/cfoc/database/7.2.0.3) should be mandated.

Now if you think that this is nor reasonable, then you can provide me with some thoughts or data but this better not include anything about socialism.
I think Hank from Milwaukee said that it was a bad idea on the internet Svensson. Naturally Hank should be believed over the NCR.

Were already on our 3rd and some 4th booster shots here and yet the infection rates still climb. These are the facts herlocks, with respect your above comment is a little uniformed and in poor taste in my opinion . .
Unfortunately when the scientific experts issue their COVID information they don’t just take their figures from NSW Fishy.

Ok, I’ll accept the ‘poor taste’, comment but it was a tongue-in-cheek. The experts tell me that vaccinations work. Not 100% of course but they work and the benefits are obvious. So I believe them. Just as I wouldn’t go to a lecture on Black Holes by Stephen Hawking and walk out half way through shouting “you don’t know what you’re talking about Hawking .”

No the problem is that there are too many conspiracy theorists and too many thinking that they know better that the medical/scientific experts.

Why is it an issue that most people that die from covid had an underlying issue? They still wouldn’t have died if they hadn’t caught it.

No, but this may shock you, I am capable of sourcing news from all over the world via this handy tool called the internet. Your data is as available for an American as it is for you. So, you know, what's your point?

Oh, you have none. As per usual, no valid argument, just deflection because you can't argue the facts on their merits.

From CHINA??? Are you kidding me? That's how you get Covid. You know they are bio-engineering it and shipping it out in all the products made there. Just for safety, everyone should throw away their phones too.

You act like every medical Doctor "expert" is on board with the vaccine. That is not the case. Who exactly are the experts I keep reading about? I know Hank from Milwaukie he is an infectious disease Doctor, one hell of a bowler, who has had his Twitter account canceled for posting the vaccines do not work.

What are the conspiracy theories you keep mentioning? People I know who do not want the vaccine do not think they work. I do not think they work. I was stupid enough to get vaccinated by Johnson and Johnson and now JJ is NOT recommended by the EXPERTS who were so high on JJ beforehand. The EXPERTS now claim the JJ vaccine has potentially serious side effects, ****. The EXPERTS were wrong about Johnson and Johnson. The expert who founded mRNA therapy said children should never get the vaccine. Your EXPERTS want to give the vaccine to five-year-olds.

You ignore the facts about the vaccines. Again, I do not care if a person gets vaccinated. I do not care if they want nine shots but the people who chose not to get the vaccine have a good argument that you dismiss as a conspiracy theory.

Fact the vaccine does not prevent a person from getting the virus.

Fact the vaccine does not prevent a person from spreading the virus

Fact the vaccine is only good for three months before a booster is necessary.

Fact the vaccine has potentially serious side effects

Fact the virus has a 99% survival rate the flu is more deadly to children.

Given the known facts why do you blame people for not wanting the jab? What are the obvious benefits of the jab?

                    • All of the accepted experts are telling us that getting the vaccine is the best way of reducing our chances of contracting covid or becoming seriously I’ll do to it. That’s good enough for me. If it has a less beneficial effect that they’ve judged then I’ve wasted an hour of my time. So what? If the vast majority of experts tell us to get vaccinated why ignore them? How can your average man or woman in the street have such advanced medical judgment to be able to gainsay whatever they’ve advised? What reason would the government have for lying? Unless of course some kind of conspiracy is suggested.

Every single person that I’ve seen on tv or that I’ve read about in the news, who refuse vaccination, are people that I wouldn’t trust to get my groceries for me. Therefore I ignore them. I’d make vaccines mandatory.

There are a few Doctors around who dismiss evolution but it doesn’t mean that we have to give them a seconds credence or take them seriously. It’s called a fringe. It’s usually occupied by loonies.

Once again: I know this is a hard concept to comprehend, but the ONE person or News outlet telling you what you already believe isn't necessarily TRUE. You have to look at what the majority say and what the consensus is.

absolutely herlock.I totally agree with you. Im not usually one for sweeping gov mandates but on this one I am. the gov mandates alot of safety and health laws, like seatbelts for instance.
