      That would be great.

We could instigate a kind of Ripper cliche drinking game......

"Charles Cross sees what he thinks is a tarpaulin". DRINK

"Liz screamed three times, but not very loudly". DRINK

It would help us identify other casebookers!

This is a rare experience for me. I’m on a thread where no one is getting annoyed by anything I’ve said.

Taking nothing away from these travel documentories,it is a pity we see them as places are today.Bermuda is a typical example.70 odd years ago I could stand on horseshoe bay at any time of the day,any day of the year, and be the only person there.Sadly that time is no more, but it doesn't prevent me from spending a lot of time seeing it as it is now.

I've had a quick jaunt around Vienna this evening!

Have signed up for the Ripper tour on Thursday too!

                Really?

                Small world!

I just kinda logged on near the end to see how things work in preparation for Thursdays Ripper one.

The wee bit I saw looked great!

It did give me itchy feet and make me crave a real European city break though!

Very interesting! I will investigate the site and possibly sign up for the Ripper tour.

Thanks for mentioning this! I will soon be retired and have time for virtual tours.

I just visited the Heygo site and noticed they offer you the chance to get "postcards" of your virtual tour. Rather a cool idea!

                      It is cool, isn't it?

I wish I'd known about it during the first lockdown, before I'd formed an "extended household" with my partner and whilst I was largely working from home!

                      They were dull days!

During those dark days, my friends and I amused ourselves with the online experiences offered by this company:

                        Welcome to Swamp Motel

They were really good fun and it was super cheap if there were five or six of us participating.

                        Would highly recommend.

                        It's nonsense, but excellent fun!

                          Oh! They've revamped their website.

                          The ones which we did are in the "Live" Section;

Plymouth Point and the Mermaid's Tongue.

We're planning on signing up for the Kindling Hour too, but have been distracted by the opening of the beer gardens!

I checked out "Swamp Motel" at their site, and I think it could lead the way to "Holodeck" type entertainment rooms as imagined on "Star Trek the Next Generation".

Are they all mystery or escape room experiences?

The ones I did were both online mystery experiences.

You have to search online for clues and crack codes.

You get texts and weird phone calls throughout too, so it's kind of multi-media!

                              We really enjoyed it!

It was a fun way to hook up with pals when you couldn't physically be in the same room.

We co-ordinated red wine and cheese snacks throughout to make it feel more like we were all together.
