    Thanks Kattrup,

It was only a few months ago that I was reading something about Szeremedy and saw the name Kattrup. You may have heard the loud “aaaaah, so that’s why he’s called Kattrup!”

Mary Kelly is buried in St Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, which is just behind Leyton tube station in east London. The address is given as Leytonstone and the postcode for the cemetery is E11 but part of the cemetery grounds is in Leyton and that postcode is E10. I thought Etenguy sounded better than Eelevenguy (which might be read as eel even guy - whatever that might mean).

I translated some of mayor Kattrup's original involvement in the matter 1892 some time ago: https://www.jtrforums.com/forum/pers...szemeredy-1892

Mine is the name on my birth certificate, although Drew Gray cited it as an example of the strange habit Ripperologists have of adopting the names of characters involved in the case.

One user name which intrigued me and which I was able to decipher for myself was ‘Septic Blue’. The user was an American Chelsea supporter who had lived in London.

(Septic is rhyming slang (septic tank = yank) for an American, and Chelsea play in a blue strip.)

My girlfriends nick name back in 1964 was Mo, she was 15, I was 17, my workmates accused me of ‘cradle snatching ,LOL. I used her name plus age for my nom de plume, when having a flutter on the gee gees, IE . MO 16. Etc .anyhow my name is Steve, hence the poster name. And yep we’re still an item.
Interesting to learn of others names , good idea Herlock.

I’m afraid my response is rather mundane, Herlock. Gordon happens to be my name. One of them anyway. Maybe I should change it to “Mr. Whicher” or something more appropriate.

“Gordon” was also my father’s middle name. He in turn was named after General Gordon.

Mind you, I have had other names on other boards. (I’ve been called other names on other boards too--but that’s the Internet for you!) On one board I re-registered as “Kilroy”--because “I was here” before most of the other posters were.

I’ve also been “Anonymous Bosch,” which caused a mixture of hilarity and horror (from one neurotic lady). I was interested recently to see someone else posting on YouTube under the same name. Well, “great minds think alike.”

I was also amused when I posted on a board as “Heath Robinson,” and at least one poster thought it was my real name! I guess some people need educating. Since most posters there were from the USA, maybe I should have called myself “Rube Goldberg” instead.

Nothing wrong with using your own name Gordon. I do the same on JTRForums. I like Anonymous Bosch though

                            Hi Herlock

When I first learned of the name you use on JTRForums, I had thought it was a reference to Mary Poppins and wondered if that was a childhood favourite. I expect you get that alot, sorry.

                              Hello Eten

It wasn’t a favourite of mine and to be honest it’s only been mentioned a couple of times. I did go to school with a girl called Julie Andrew’s though but I can’t recall if she could sing?

Azarna is something I came up with when trying to find an unused name for an account in World of Warcraft, rather a long time ago now.

I have no idea why this name, it just sort of came out of my head and sounded like a good name for a warlock!

I later had a warlock called Bramah, which is far wittier.

And since then I have sometimes used it for online accounts as it is usually available.

I also sometimes use my middle name for online accounts, as I think I may be the only living person to have it, so it is good for this - although totally transparent that it is me, of course.

If I ever get my JTR book finished, I may regret not using my real name here for all this time, heh.
