I drink it straight on the rocks also. When I was in college during Football season it was always fun to sneak mini bottles into the stadium and dump them in the cokes from the concessions. But that was lets see, almost 10 years ago now so I guess when I do this it takes me back to those Fall Saturdays

Like bolo, I'm a Laphroaig man. The peatier and more iodiney the better in my book.

Nice one ! The Peat family would include Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Talisker, Caol Ila (to some extent).

But note that Bruichladdich has recently created the most peated malt, called Octomore (120ppm, I think, which was considered impossible until McEwan acheived it).

        Cheers Ben

Campbeltown was once reputed for its peated whiskies.

But now, sadly, most distilleries are closed (only 3 remaining, I think, including the famous Springbank).

It's all similar with water or whatever in it.

            Just buy whatever's cheapest.

You get just as merry just the same.

According to many in my village, J&B is best.

And some find Gordon's gin deliciously fruity.
