I used to manage a liquor store right after college and the owner was very keen on the finer liquids and always was very gracious on educating us (and of course letting us sample) many varieties of rare, expensive and exquisite alcoholic beverages.
One day he brought in a special order of a Scotch (I am going to mangle this) called Uscha baugh (sp). I know thats not spelled right but that is I beleive the correct pronunciation. Best Scotch I ever had.
Does anyone know what I am talking about??? I think it might actually have been a blend.
On a funnier note about Scots being stingy. I used to know alot of restuarant/bar workers and one of there sayings was:
If the customer is a pipe smoker there will be little to no tip, and if they are Scottish you'll owe them. People who left bogus tips were referred to as Scottish pipesmokers.
