Oh dear............
Here's some more:
A paedophile illegal immigrant has finally been thrown out of Britain after a long court battle in which he claimed that deporting him would breach his human rights.
Zulfar Hussain, 48, has cost the taxpayer up to £100,000 with his legal battle to remain in Blackburn, Lancashire.
He had been jailed for five years and eight months in August 2007 after he was convicted of child abduction, sexual activity with a child and supplying youngsters with ecstasy after he lured two girls into a sex trap.

Two WONDERFUL immigrants
OK - so you've had the immigrants-are-worthless examples - now put your hands together for two WONDERFUL people who were born elsewhere but have contributed GREATLY to this country:
Camilla Batmanghelidjh - born in Iran. Camilla came to this country aged 11. Despite being severely dyslexic she is a successful businesswoman but her greatest contribution is to disadvantaged young people in a poor London borough. Camilla provides shelter and food and education to abandoned young people and gives them respect and hope. She believes every young person - even those who have done terrible things - is worthy of respect and care to bring them back from the brink. She has raised thousands and thousands of pounds to help many disadvantaged young people and has paid for their education and care.
Ade Adepitan MBE - born in Nigeria and wheel-chair bound due to suffering polio as a child. Ade is an inspiration. He has never let his disability get in the way of personal development. He is a gifted athlete - an actor and a television presenter who has raised countless thousands of punds to help disabled young people who wish to be involved in sports. I had the privilege to meet Ade last suimmer when he gave a motivational speech at our college and awarded prizes.
I hope these two examples show that immigrants can contribute hugely to our society and that most of them give back much more than they ever take.

....and one SCOUNDREL
Anmyone wishes to learn more about how some of the best-bred Brits behave when they go abroad should Google 'Mark Thatcher' and find out what an 'honourable' immigrant he was in the host countries.
Worst still - the man is entitled to sit in the House of Lords!

now bob maybe i should tell you about the good rich catholic modern schools for the upper class who are supposed to be "under contract with the state" and who are supposed to be just like regulkar public schools (free of pedophiles and free from mandatory religion and following the program)??? no need to look for the old private institutes for naughty girls... and damn i can write dozens of pages on that, be it about the 6 years i spent in this dominican institute near Chantilly or about all the private good catholic schools of the region. hey guess what??? none of the pedophiles there are immigrants, still they break your ass open when you're 11....

I think we have established that there are people that we would like to kick out of our countries forever. And that those people can be born in our country or outside it. I think that's probably a no-brainer.The early bird might get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

It's not the immigration that folk disagree with, it's the indiscriminate handing out of so called benefits and social security payments to them that's the problem. Let them all come here but let them only have benefits when they have contributed to the welfare state.
The fact that this country is a soft touch is well known throughout the criminal classes of foreign parts and thus the welfare state acts as a huge beacon to attract foreign undesirables.

Ah, benefits claims are another area where stereotyping may prejudice our perception of the facts. It is also an area where the stereotype is self conflicting; are the economic migrants here to steal jobs and work cheaply, or are they lazy benefits scroungers?
There are likely some of each, and there is no doubt some areas of the benefit system need tightening up, but we can not pretend that foreigners have the monopolly on playing the system. As with other crimes, our native population have the upper hand in taking it for granted.
The last time I checked the figures, a few years back now, the majority of migrants in the UK were from the EU, were in work, and had a stated intention of going home, which a hefty majority did. If anybody has figures to disprove this feel free to post it as supporting evidence. I wouldnt want my shaky memory to decieve.
We should also note some popular claims are outright lies; despite the bnp winning council elections based on the claim, no london borough has ever paid immigrants to move to their constituency, for example. Tales of swan eating are not supportrd by evidence, and so on.There Will Be Trouble! http://www.amazon.co.uk/A-Little-Tro...s=T.+E.+Hodden

Are we really a 'soft touch?'. How soft is it to lock up asylum seekers and their children in detention camps camps until their cases can be heard?
Let us not forget that there are many people in this country willing to take from the system - one of them is my MP who thought it was acceptable for the public to pay for him to have his swimming pool cleaned. Then there is the gentleman in the House of Lords caught claiming - among other things - for nights spent in London when he in fact went home.
Oh - and what about companies such as Vodaphone - who legally it seems - avoid paying millions of pounds in tax?
