OK When I said we would win the next 6 in a row, I'll admit that I was kidding... there was no way we were going to beat Collingwood...... but alas.. Brisbane 88 Collingwood 80......now Steadmund is a happy guy!!

And hey Adam.... i nearly fell out of my chair when I saw that Richmond won...dont get too happy though since we meet in only 3 weeks..... hahah Go LIons!!....... I do have to admit for the last 5 weeks I have been really pulling for Richmond....I just hate seeingthat big zero next to anyone ya know?

on to another great week of footy!!! How is everyone else out there doing

Hey Steadmund,

Yes, we do have Brisbane in a few weeks, and so confident was I after seeing Richmond win that game that I now have a carton on that game with a mate who goes for the Lions.....*gulp*.

Good win for you blokes against the Pies though. Always good to see them get beaten.

Sorry I have been so quiet for a bit.. was out of town.. relaxing and not taking anything seriously.... hmmm much like my Lions it appears.... droping a game to the BUlldogs is no shame... however 121-56... well yeah that is..... I'm old, and fat and American and I think I could have played better (ok.. well I'm not THAT old.....haha)

MAybe it's time to just focus on the World Cup for a few weeks eh?

Bit more confident about our chances after beating West Coast on the weekend Steadmund, and Jack's 10 goal haul....but it's at the GABBA which is always a challenge, even when Brisbane isn't playing too well.

oh I still have to get there someday to see a game live....the website that i get to watch games on here has been down often well, i guess on the plus side of that, I havent seen those terrible losses eh?

hmmm I should probably stop talking now as I am posting while at work (shhhh) but look foward to talking more.... by the way Adam.. are you a fight fan at all? Just thought I would ask.. big boxing fan here, infact that is where I was when I was away, at the Boxing hall of fame inductions.. oh well.. talk to you all soon....

A while back IIRC they were talking about playing some promotional AFL games overseas....don't know if you heard anything about that?

Can't say i'm much of a fight fan, have been keeping tabs on the world cup results though.....which so far, hasn't been such a good idea either lol. Yes, you'll have to come to Oz soon....especially if Brisbane make their way to the finals!

Good on ya Adam..... what a win indeed for Richmond.... so far i havent gotten to see the game, but i should be able to by wednesday (do I really want to watch it hahahaha)... and hey, I am happy for you.. if my Lions continue to slide this way, I am glad that it helps your boys out... they are a good scrappy team with a lot of fight in them and I wish them all the luck......I may even order a jersey of theirs now actually I wont now as shipping and handling to the States is crazy now!!!!!!!! I was going to order some stuff from Brisbane and they wanted like 100 bucks in shipping... blah.... hey. you know, if there is anything you need from the states let me know, maybe we can ship stuff to each other much cheaper hahaha..

Ha, sure, why not? There's no shortage of AFL shops around here.....just make sure you order before the Christmas rush or else it'll take 10 years to get over there. Meanwhile, hopefully the Lions pick up their act, they could still make the finals whereas Richmond can't......but happy with how they've been going lately, and happy about getting that carton! lol.

well my boys from Brisbane get a much needed week off... lets see if they can do something when they return, I have almost given up all hope..

And Adam... is there anything you may want from the States...I would be happy to trade or pick up what you needed... we should come up with a way to exchange info.. probably not best to do over a public forum (no offense to anyone... as you have all been great... just the New York paranoia in me I guess)... but yeah.. there are several Brisbane things that I may have you pick up for me... in the future.. if possible....

Hello hello everyone..... Steadmund is back..... which is more than I can say for my beloved Lions ... sorry was away for a bit, had a slight problem with my account... but all is better now....... Great win for ya there Fisher....I actually got to watch the game here in the states... and inbetween my tears was thinking " wow thoe Blues look great" and was happy for you.

and Adam.... or Fisher. or anyone else down under... if there is anything you are looking for from the states let me know.. for I know that soon.. there may be some Lions stuff I may need (as I'm sure after this season it will all be cheap heheheh).
