    Hi Victoria,

Maybe you don't know what being 'flippant' means?

When I'm in the pub I prefer being flippant to being lectured.

My fault - I just chose the wrong bar stool that time.

    See ya soon!

    Hello Caz,

maybe you are not understanding the meaning.
It is not superficial .. as you make out.

In reality, a 'trouble' is anything ..not necessarily
something negative .. a ripple of any disturbance
(any thought) to the true peace of mind.

"But what we have not got, we shall create in our minds" ..
meaning our mind is really like a calm peaceful ocean,
all the waves (ups and downs, good and bad, thoughts and feelings)
    are all self created.

Possibly the writer of that verse from a poem, did not really know
the full extent of what they wrote at the time.
But in truth we all know everything (about reality).. we just need to
be still enough to access that knowledge.
This simple verse is a pointer to truth.

    Peace and love,
    Victoria
    ps. Enjoy your holiday!

    Speak for yourself.

I haven't got fleas or troubles and I have no intention of creating either in my mind.

    But each to his/her own.

    Thanks Carol!

I'm packing my sunglasses and swimming costume so it's a dead cert that temperatures will now plunge to a new low for our Italian job.

Trouble is, all the profits have now gone down my plughole so the trip to Italy will be by coach all the way there and back from Basildon bus station - evening meals and drinks included - for about fourpence. I was only saying to someone the other day that I haven't worked out what the catch is yet (apart from it being bleedin' February).

I hope you will all think of me while I'm helping to push the coach - or being VERY nice to the driver.
