What really turned me against an Australian origin is the fact that he had to bring the watch in along side the diary. The blackboard incident was seemingly convincing with Victoria acting as backup collaboration. But then, he had to put the watch with the diary because they are supposed to be connected to match the story as presented by others thus far.

To not coin a phrase, let the chips fall where they may (along with the fish). And to use another cliché (aren't you glad), I am sure we will tell it like it is.

    All my best

    Hi Caz

I take it that, referencing the name of a mid-19th century American political party, you view Steve Powell as a "Know Nothing."

    All the best

We are agreed here Caz, it was excellent and pretty funny .. multi talented is
our Steve, musician, singer, composer, playwright, poet .. up and
coming author, and now .. even a comedian!

Not so sure about diary commentator though ..
I think he is talking about his first hand experience
    with the original forger.

    love,
    Victoria

Thanks for the poem Mike, good work.
    Just read a book called:
The Diary of a Welsh Swagman.
About a certain Joe Jenkins who came to Melbourne in the 1850's.
Kept a diary everyday for his entire life.
Wonderful man and his poems are excellent.
    Very much like yours.
Also nice to read a true diary as well.

    Steve

Why do people always assume New Zealanders are rugby fans? Stupid bloody sport... The haka is mighty cool tho

Steve, I'm certainly intrigued, and I do intend to read your book, but I hope it's a bit more convincing than what I've seen on this thread. And with a bit less poetry.

I never said they did. Whoever created the diary was certainly no decent human being.

For your information, which you should know already, is that
I attempted to contact Feldman in 1999/2000.
I asked Shirley Harrison on the phone to let me speak to him
but she said he was not well and maybe would not survive.
Why did you need to contact Feldy if you already believed you had all the answers in your own head? He may not have been well in 1999/2000, but he evidently recovered subsequently and you could have reached him via his publisher at any time over the next 5 to 6 years.

If his heart was irregular after hearing that I was on his trail,
that is his own guilt coming around.
And this is the kind of thing that makes Victoria think you are a 'decent' human being?

However, his apparent demise in Watford in May of 2005,
had still given him 5 years to contact me
and find out what the hell I was talking about.
Precisely. He evidently didn't think he needed to know what the hell you were talking about. That doesn't sound like a worried man to me. You're the one who comes across as desperate to have people shaking in their boots, keeling over with worry and dying (literally) to know what you've got on them.

Don't you think that someone with Feldman's reputation
as one that leaves nothing undone concerning the case,
would have bothered to find out a little bit more?
When the source is you? You jest.

The fantasy is all yours and all of those that are
trying to keep my information under the rug.
Oh yes, I can see all your information under my rug now, and I've got my foot on it so you'll have to work from memory if you want to go ahead and publish it.

You setting me up to take the blame when you can't produce any information? It's a novel excuse, I'll grant you that.

    Love,

    Caz

PS Only one person's reputation at stake here, Mike. Oh wait, Powell's got no reputation, except as a diary fanatic and fantasist. And that one's safe as houses. He has consistently made sure of that himself.

A book on the horizon, an author to name and shame,
But is it "only May Playing his Game"?
Or someone else who "Will get all the blame"
An author among us, who will be in the frame,

"With a ring on my finger, and a knife in my hand"
When is the book out, and is there demand,
Will "may Spread Mayhem across the land"?,
    Or will Feldman understand?

And what of Steve Parks, what will he say?
When the book is released on launch day?
Have you selected a month? I would choose May?
"Turn round three times" and see the games I play,

And with the release do you back up your stance
"Oh Costly intercourse of death", and one final dance,
Will the hoaxer come forward, will this be there chance?
Or is it a fictional piece, with a little romance?

Will Parks back up this fanciful story?
Will he be the one who takes all the glory,
I fear it will end it a terrible waste,
    With reputations gone "Poste haste"

    Etc Etc
