I wanted to post this to let people know, since I see renewed activity on the podcast thread, that the Primer podcasts are currently moving forward in the research and development behind the scenes. (Mostly me still figuring out the software, because, let's face it, I am a techno-idjit).
At this point I am inviting members to contact me via PM if they are interested in doing a segment on the Suspects podcast. This podcast will run a little differently than other podcasts as it will neither be a one-on-one nor a panel, but individual theorists putting forth an "opening argument" or pitch for their selected candidate. These will be brief (about five minutes) that sum up why Suspect is a strong candidate for the Ripper or, if strong can't even be claimed, why they are a candidate at all.
While we have volunteers for some of the suspects, we don't have for all of them and we would like to use people who have a genuine enthusiasm for the suspect rather than say, Disbeliever trying to convince people Sickert is a valid candidate. We may have to go that way for some of them, but we would prefer not to if a viable alternative presents itself. And whether a candidate is included might come down to whether we can find a living breathing person to argue for them.
If you would be interested in preparing a five minute segment for the upcoming podcast, to be recorded at your convenience, please send me a PM.
I will be bumping this periodically throughout the week so please forgive the annoyance in advance.
