But the issue at hand is did he intend to display or hide the body.
It is hard to accept he was trying to hide the body; why hide this body when he didn't try to hide the Thames body or the Pinchin Street body, (and why get so unlucky as to drop it on top of some workman's tools in the CID's new HQ; that's pretty damn unlucky, and a lot of effort to get to such a poor spot.)
And also, do you subscribe that the Torso Killer was responsible for the boy that was found? That torso had been dropped (I believe) in a play ground and then several parts of the boy were found scattered through the neighborhood like the fiend wanted to play some sort of perverse scavenger hunt game. (Sorry but off the top of my head I am vague on this crime's details.)
