  • Room 13 Miller's Court

The police photograph of 13 Miller's Court has always fascinated me. I am posting a close up of the window and door to invite discussion and comment if anyone is interested -

    Hello newbie

Excellent view - one can actually see the true extent of the broken window pane at last, something not always evident on even the best reproductions in books.

Ive always took it to be the bottom pane.

How the hell did Barnett undo the lock through that?

            Good point, M.

I guess it is difficult to get a sense of scale (although I'm sure somebody out there has an idea), but any attempt to spring the latch from this hole would have appeared to require a very long arm.

Maybe it could have been done using a stick?

              Its an odd configuration isnt?

The windows just do not match. I can understand if one was put in later I suppose, to give light to the room.

                John,

A stick or long arm indeed. Those or Barnett had gashed up biceps.

                    Stewart,

                    Whoa, Praters window?

You been storing images away again? This is a new one isnt it?

How do you know its Praters window and has it been shown anywhere else?

You may answer my questions in order.

                    Monty

PS Actually, dont answer my questions...I figured it out....doh!

I believe that both panes were broken, Monty. My eyes might be tricking me, but I think one can just make out, albeit in patches, the left-hand border of the hole in the bottom pane. I say "in patches", because the contrast seems more washed-out in that region of the picture, and the detail is not so stark.

If indeed that was her room after all - I have my doubts (pre-crash discussion refers.)
