in my opinion Gilyarovski is Isaac Kozebrodzki. Gilyaroski's actions as reported in the AF of October 5 completely coincide with what Kozebrodzki did that night according to the English speaking newspapers. If I recall it right, an old article in Ripper Notes #25 mentions that Kozebrodzki could not be found in the censuses. Maybe cuz his transliterated name was in reality Gilyaroski. Someone ought to check for the latter in the census of 1891.
