I have only one issue with stride, I dont why she was found laying on her side????
      Washington Irving:

"To a homeless man, who has no spot on this wide world which he can truly call his own, there is a momentary feeling of something like independence and territorial consequence, when, after a weary day's travel, he kicks off his boots, thrusts his feet into slippers, and stretches himself before an inn fire. Let the world without go as it may; let kingdoms rise and fall, so long as he has the wherewithal to pay his bills, he is, for the time being, the very monarch of all he surveys. The arm chair in his throne; the poker his sceptre, and the little parlour of some twelve feet square, his undisputed empire. "

Hello Chadwick. Yes, I know that feeling. Pity.

          Hi Corey,

Chapman was likewise turned to her side, facing away from the killer, as her throat was cut. This kept the killer clean. I personally believe all the victims were killed this way, but I believe Sam has other thoughts regarding Eddowes.

          Yours truly,

Hello Ditlew. Right. The other message is "You already voted on this poll." And so I doubt that is the problem. Frustrating, no?

            The best.

yes I know, all four of the cannon were found lying on their backs except stride. Perhaps its due to her bleeding out slowly??partial severance of the carotid artery

P.S. If the police had just brought Jack the Ripper in for questioning, we wouldn't have so many questions now. Too bad they didn't think about that.
                Tom,

                Cute --

Who's to say they didn't? The police had the Yorkshire Ripper in for questioning 9 times before they finally settled on him. He probably was right under their noses the whole time and they didn't know it.

I'm with you. If this had been solved all those years ago, it probably would have seemed obvious and we wouldn't be talking about it right now. Somehow, key evidence seems elusive.

                Best ~

I know this thread isn't about this, and I know you were speaking in jest here Tom but I firmly believe that they did speak to him at some point.

700 views do not mean 700 persons, Corey.

                              Corey,

Since the murder "process" was not finished, this may have been part of the method. Choke her to unconsciousness and lay her down on her side. As was pointed out, cutting her throat is a bloody business and it keeps it from spilling on the killer. Once that is done, he turns her on her back and begins his mutilations. Then he leaves her posed.

Utterly revolting but has some logic. He didn't get that far with Liz.

                              • I would also like to say that I am glad you didn't put in a 'maybe' vote. Really, that is what I think, maybe she wasn't. But sometimes it is good to make people force themselves off the fence. As long as you let them get back on after.
