Might I suggest that Butcher's Row be added. It is believed that Sagar and Cox had a prominent suspect under surveillance in that area. Details are here:

    Added butcher's Row
Just search the map to find it.

        Hi Dave,

Is this address significant other than being the address given by Eddowes to the police at Bishopsgate?

        Cheers, George

OK, so Stride was previously living at 32 Flower and Dean, but at the time of her death was living with a man in Fashion St. Eddowes gave the police her name, initially "Nothing", and then Mary Kelly, and her address as 6 Fashion St, which is behind 32 Flower and Dean, but she actually lived with John Kelly at 55 Flower and Dean St. Can I have some more clues please?

            Cheers, George

I've spent a lot of time adding and updating the map with a lot more annotations which include clickable links and more information per annotation. The idea is that readers can use the map as more than just a map of locations but also as a research resource too.
I freely admit that I'm a 'Cyril Fletcher' (keen amateur) whereas proper Ripperologists are the 'Bob Prices' and so while I've been adding these annotations I added the links to help ME fill in the gaps of my knowledge. This made me realize that the links I use should be included in the annotations. Hence why each annotation now has links to click for further info. Also, I've added links to Google Maps locations which again really helps visualize and understand the geography and distances of each point of interest.

Finally, I've added a form on the main JtR map website (http://jtrmap.com) so folk can quickly send annotations and suggestions, etc for me to add/edit.

So please check out the map. Search for things you think should be there and if they aren't there then please send a form to suggest them. OR register and become a map editor so you can become part of the 'team' and start adding to/editing the map!

Please take a look and tell me your thoughts on this map/project.

                  Many thanks
                  Richard

                      Another update:
                      UPDATE:
I've now taken a lot of time to add dozens of links to images/photos to help users visualise the areas of the map they click on. Pretty much every annotation has a link to further info, images, photographs, and Google maps references.
It's turning into a really good resource IMO

A bump for the JtR map
                          JtRMap
I've added a few new locations and stuff and it's getting nice and detailed IMO.
If anyone wants to collaborate (add/edit) they can request an editor role.

                          IMPORTANT
If something is missing from the map and/or you want something added/edited/changed etc, please post on this forum thread and I will keep updating as the requests come in.
Alternatively, I've created an annotations form that you might like to fill in:

Could we put PC 81 GER's location on in Bucks Row? Not sure if it's that important though.

                                Hi,

I don't think I have editing rights, but it might be interesting to add Joseph Issacs to "Little Paternoster Row" as he apparently lodged there a few days before Mary Kelly's murder, left after it (leaving behind a violin bow that he later retrieved), and was apparently arrested (for theft) with some suspicions of being connected to the murders as well. He also is described (in the news mind you) as being similar in appearance to Hutchinson's Astrakhan man. There's info here showing the news reports and so forth. In the news the street is just called "Paternoster Row", but the other details seem to point to Little Paternoster Row of the map.

                                - Jeff
