I guess it would be set to "Cant always get what you want".....but followed by the line, "but if you try sometime, you just might find,........... an unlocked door".
So, it's already time for the conference, eh. Don't time fly! Those of us who can't be there wish you all a fun-filled, informative, and safe weekend. Remember to take lots of photos, and let us know if the ales are in good condition.
Folks, I have no new book. I have just spoken to Alan Sutton who tells me they have not even sent it to the printers. He is furious about it, but not as much as me.

Ditto!....I nearly made it this time...........
Steve
I hope everyone had a great time.
In spite of the venue being held in London this year - which always has been my ultimate preference and dream - I wasn't able to attend; needed to save money and also feared that it may clash with some special arrangements and courses my employer has arranged for me this October, arrangements I don't want to miss.
So I am sad to say the least.
But I do hope everyone had a great time! I've been thinking about you all these last two couple of days.
I so much would have liked to meet Paul begg, whom I've never seen or talked to in real life.
And I hear Philip's talk (among others) were a success as usual.
Hopefully we'll all meet up in 2011!
As soon as Philip (and Alan Wood, of course) has gotten his well-deserved rest and good night's sleep, I'd say we're all looking forward to an update and some photos from the conference! Can't wait to see it.
It was Rob. And he's already sent me cocky text #1.
Still, there's a million photos taken at a certain location that will destroy any gravitas this well-deserved award may present.
As Glenn has pointed out, I am absolutely knackered. An enjoyable weekend for me but, honestly, more work than play. Whilst the others went off for a curry afterwards, I walked down Commercial Street and began my usual night's work. However, after the whoring I did do a Ripper tour too.
Cameras were out in force and I suspect once people are back home, and rested, you'll see the events. Most looking forward to you sending me that photo of the reconstruction of the DY shot, Gareth!
I must warn you, I have a video mpeg clip of Chris George dancing. It will hopefully become equal in infamy to the clip of Martin Fido whilst drunk.
