    Jake,

You should have seen his lil face. Its like when your kid wins something at school.

And guess who ended up inside Swallow Gardens.

    Glenn,

    It is on you tube.

Genuine recognition for the hard work of a very genuine guy.

        Hey Debs,

Rob, Paul and I were discussing this Bond despute yesterday morning over breakfast. I backed you up, honest I did, but you know what he is like.

I think the next receipient should be non other than your good self. Its about time a female was recognised as there are so many good lady researchers out there.

Your own outstanding work merits such an acknowledgement....Adam et al better be reading this.

Congratulations to Rob on his award. And Debs is next in line.

However, it does mean that she must be filmed singing "Sister Susie's Sewing Shirts For Soldiers" while hanging upside down from the ceiling and playing the spoons.

I am still buzzing from the conference experience (my first). I sincerely want to write something about it all, but I just can't put it into words succinctly enough.

I have many - MANY - happy memories of it already and a big hats off to the organisers. Even the bar-staff at the King's Stores seemed to visibly feed off the good vibes that were about.

Sorry if this seems a bit 'gushing', but as far as 'Ripperology' is concerned, the positivity of the whole event was a delight from start to finish.

Rob? Yeah, I do....and I bet nuts were mentioned!

Robert, anyone who's heard my voice on the podcast will know me singing probably isn't a good idea!
                  Thanks for the mention guys.

....speaking of party pieces though, where's all the conference photos?

I'm sure they'll arrive in due course, Debs. I'll be posting some soon in any case.

Cue 475 photos of Rob Clack being 'braced' at St George* in the East mortuary.
