Actually, folks, I'm inclined to give these guys some points. They could have listed "Ring, quite pretty, purple stone, five bucks," but instead they came up with a pretty entertaining bit of marketing and got a few more sheckels for their product. I doubt anyone would be daft enough to take it seriously or consider that the sellers were, and if they did, well more fool them!

This may seem naive of me and it will not be the first time, but was the initial DJ found written on the wall above MJK’s bed? If so, was it in blood or etched by a knife? Or are you just joking?

Jack Before The Harvesting
Jack's take down of the girls are similar, the quick cut of the throat to stop the screams, stabbings, cutting, then harvesting.
Not much time for the torture, cutting and stabbing, his show of dread and dominance, at the most she was alive through some of it, degrading the victim with the harvesting, and his show of power, there death.
Harvesting is not something a killer starts with; it is acquired later after a couple of kills, cutting throats, stabbing, cutting, and robbing. It is a learning curve.
Killing had to start when the robbed victim was able to identify him.
He may have been in prison before for robbery and he did not want to go back to prison again so killing the victim was an option. When the line is crossed there is no turning back, it goes from bad to worse.
There may have been similar type killings before the harvesting.
Jack the robber, coming up behind them with his knife at their throat and robbing them, then it happens the robbery victim knows who he is, Jack knows if he does not want to go back to prison he has to kill her, Jack goes on a learning curve.
So my point is that Jack has been arrested before, the cops know him, he has been interview by the cops, because of his record he is a suspect.
A suspect with a robbery past, not a killing past.

That's certainly a nice book, Chris.
I've had it out of my local library on and off for about 17 years (but never seen it in the shops).
It's practically a sequel to 'The Streets of East London' with extra Docklands stuff thrown in. And it captured Docklands just before it was redeveloped. There are some great photos in it and not just the JTR-relevant stuff.
I think I'll have a go myself.
