What an image that conjures up, and Blakey and Olive both so attractive. Anyway, I loved On The Buses, corny though it was. It would probably be so dated if you tried watching it now, but it gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people. RIP 'Blakey'.

"On the Buses" was just another of the great BBC comedies they never brought to the U.S. We were lucky to get "As Time Goes By", "Keeping Up Appearances", and "Are You Being Served?". We did not get "Dad's Army" either, for that matter.
