This tendency for commercials for "full body deodorants" showing people spraying the stuff down their boxer shorts or under their bras. It just seems-- excessive!

While we're on the subject of pets: people that treat their pets (usually small dogs) as child substitutes. I'm convinced that they are actually developing a breed that's losing the use of their legs (to be called "Little Foo-Foos").

I know, it's madness!

DJs, athletes, entertainers, etc. that think that people actually CARE about their cats' (or chihuahuas) favorite song/ restaurant/ website/ whatever. The local classical station has been taken over by women that talk more about their cats than the music they're playing.

This is indicative of a far larger societal problem, imo.

That reminds me Pat…every single website where you have to ‘accept’ or ‘reject’ cookies before you proceed. It’s annoying. I always accept but I don’t know if that’s the right thing to do or not?

I am reminded of the story of Vlad the Impaler. Some dignitaries from another country came to see him. They were wearing hats. Vlad told them to take off their hats but they refused citing the customs of their country. So Vlad had their hats nailed to their heads.

You gotta like ole' Vlad. He knew how to get things done.

Speaking of handicapped parking -- I will always remember the time I was on the beach down in Florida. They take handicapped parking very seriously down there because of all the elderly people. Anyway, a car full of people pulls into a spot reserved for handicapped parking. A cop walks over and asks them if they are handicapped. They say no. He tells them this spot is reserved for handicapped persons only and they need to move their car. The driver tells the cop they are from Canada. He says great, welcome to the USA and the state of Florida but they are going to have to move. These ******** refused to move saying over and over again that they are from Canada. Finally, the very exasperated cop told them this is the last time I am telling you. Move your car now or you will be arrested and your car will be towed and impounded. They finally moved. I was hoping the cop would have busted some heads. What jerks.
