Hi Herlock, whether or not you are a G & S fan, this song from the Mikado is appropriate.

    I've got a little list
    I've got a little list
    Of society offenders
    Who might well be underground
    And never would be missed
    They never would be missed

    Chorus:
He's got them on the list
He's got them on the list
And they'll none of them be missed
They'll none of them be missed
Why a four-year-old child could understand this report! Run out and find me a four-year-old child, I can't make head or tail of it.

      This!

This annoys the crap out of me!

Idiots who adopt animals and then return them to the shelter when their behaviour fails to meet unrealistic standards.

It's a puppy for crying out loud!

      Don't leave important sh!t lying around! D'uh!

      Behavioural issues?

Honour the commitment that you made to the pup, put the time in and train it.

      Arseh0le!!!!

        Absolutely!

What a moron. I’d love to see the look on the face of a dog-shelter receptionist if you stood there and asked for a well behaved puppy. If she wanted a well-behaved dog then she should have bought one that was already trained but no, she obviously wanted a cute puppy as an ornament.

Those young guys who get pit bulls thinking it makes them look tough and macho. Of course they have no idea how to control the damn things.

There’s currently a hunt on in Birmingham (30 minutes from where I live) after a man was killed by two dogs that I think he was looking after for his brother. Those two dogs have been seized but they’re looking for two others for some reason. It looks like they aren’t banned breeds though.

Too many idiots are intentionally making their dogs fierce because they see them as a weapon. Who needs a knife if you have a slavering, sabre-toothed hellbeast on a leash. There should be some kind of intelligence/psychological testing for potential dog owners to prevent the knuckle draggers from getting their hands on one.

Yes, or even better rescue a more mature dog with a proven record of being a good boy or girl!

Shelters have lots of dogs who have been rehomed due to the age or infirmity of their owners.

You can have a pretty good idea of what you're getting as information has been collected from the previous owner.

TBH I would probably still not leave important stuff lying around just in case, but you get a puppy and do that and I'd say you're the one with behavioural issues!

                Yeah c.d.

                Those guys are morons too.

They don't socialise the dogs properly and fail to give them the exercise and stimulation that a dog requires.

Then the dog bites someone and ends up being put down.

I'd be tempted to euthanise the owner instead.

My sentence would be that they have to walk a dyed pink poodle three times a day around their estate.

I don't know if you watched Game of Thrones.
While the whole "Sansa Stark deals a bitter revenge on Ramsay Bolton" situation may be extreme, I probably wouldn't be entirely against the idea of visiting the notion in dealing with owners of dangerous dogs who don't look after them.

                        • This one will be controversial especially today…..Oasis!

I loathe and detest them. The most overrated band in the history of music imo. Someone just described Liam Gallagher on tv as a great frontman and singer. The guy stands there like someone waiting for a bus with his hands behind his back wearing a Mac singing in his annoying whiney voice. He sounds like a fan singing a football song. God I hate Oasis so much.

                          • Another irritation, people being intentionally stupid.
In this case, enforcing a rule that was made with a different intent in mind.

An example is, lining up in a grocery store. three self check-out machines and a sign that says 'No Carts'.
There's four regular check-outs open, and 6 or 7 people in each line.
So, I have a loaf of bread, a carton of eggs, and a carton of milk. My wife is pushing a cart with a case of 24 bottled water.
It's in the cart because it is too heavy to carry around the store.
So, we do not have a shopping cart full of groceries, which is what the sign refers to, which would slow down the fast self checkout.
We have four items, that's all.

So this assistant walks up to me telling me "no carts", which sparked off a ludicrous exchange. The aisle was wide enough for a cart, so she had no cause to stop me passing through. I said "you carry that case of water then!, it's too heavy for us".
All she could say was "no carts", "no carts".

Others may disagree, but in my view she was being intentionally stupid, it's obvious we did not have a cart full of shopping.
Maybe it's just me, but I expect staff to show a bit of gumption, if they see a pensioner struggling with a case of water, recognise the situation for what it is, or assist them in some other way.
                            Regards, Jon S.

Sounds like a jobsworth with no concept of common sense Wick. What if you had your arm in a sling and so took a cart for those 4 items? Or what if you were disabled? Or 85?

                                Gotta agree with this one.

I once heard their music described as "nursery rhymes for drunks".

                                Apt I thought!

Edit: I bet Liam is one of those guys who walks about with his hands down his trousers and is always rummaging around in there too. He looks the type.
