I really don’t think so. I think pretty much all of the letters are cranks or sick jokes. And there’s no physical evidence to back anything up. It can probably provide a way of better understanding what we already know, but that’s probably about it.
There’s already some pending court cases that I think are really going to start shaping the regulations surrounding AI and how we use it. We should be looking at more practical uses for AI, like helping educators develop more individualized lesson plans for students.
