I can’t believe I didn’t put The Wicker Man in my list so just putting it up there now.

Not the Nicolas Cage one obviously
Although that is entertaining for unintentional comedy reasons

Good call Yabs. The Wicker Man could easily have made my list. The big question of course would be - would The Wicker Man have made Wickerman’s list.

One of the great westerns Dave. A couple more, Hombre and The Outlaw Josey Wales can be had from the same source.

Good selection but......No fair...you exceeded the limit. Oh well, I always say...give an inch and I'll take a mile and ask for forgiveness afterwards (sorry Herlock). Here are some more to add to my 20 to make it a top 40:

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid - Newman and Redford
Out of Africa - Redford, Streep and Klaus Maria Brandauer
Charade - Grant, Hepburn, Coburn and Matthau
The Natural - Redford and Duvall
The Man Who Would Be King - Kipling classic with Connery, Caine and Plummer
Die Hard - Alan Rickman as the classic villain
              The Court Jester
              The Great Escape
The Magnificent Seven (Original) - who can name the
actors playing the 7? (no googling please)
Hard Times 1975 - Bronson and Coburn
The Red Sun - Bronson and Mifune
Death Hunt 1981 - Bronson and Marvin
The White Buffalo - Bronson and the great Will Sampson

In The Heat Of The Night is one of my favourites too. Sellers’ Pink Panther movies were brilliant - I went for A Shot In The Dark for my list but it was a difficult decision.

Indeed, Mike, it's very difficult to have to choose a favorite Pink Panther movie. They all have brilliant and hilarious scenes.

Charade - Grant, Hepburn, Coburn and Matthau

                                Hi George,
Charade almost made the cut in my list.

Another Audrey Hepburn movie which is a hoot is "How To Steal A Million" with Peter O'Toole and Eli Wallach.

                                regards Gazza
Why a four-year-old child could understand this report! Run out and find me a four-year-old child, I can't make head or tail of it.
