    He was a confirmed fraudster well before this. He settled out of court in 2016 for three lawsuits about his fraudulent Trump University. The Trump Foundation "charity" was dissolved by court order in 2018.

        A summary judgment offered by a New York judge days before Trump's business fraud case rejects the Trump side argument that the documents had a "worthless clause" that invalidated fraud charges because it stated the document "wasn't to be relied on."
        The judge stated Mr. Trump's "worthless statement" is itself worthless. Trump, three of his adult children, the Trump Organization, and other associates are declared to be guilty of fraud and false tax reporting fot decades.
