Quite funny reading the comments, one thanking him for his hard work, two from someone whose work he plagiarised, threatening him with legal action, and two more reviewing his talks, one saying "Had the misfortune to see this rather unpleasant man on a Cunard cruise ... Mr Marriott's book is sitting on the shelf at my local Co-op book exchange (you know, you leave books you no longer want; maybe pick up one you fancy reading - works well enough in small communities).
I keep thinking I'll pick it up for a quick flick through on my way past, but I haven't got round to it so far.
But perhaps somebody else'll snap it up and I'll be too late - next time I pass by it'll have gone.
Oh well.

I am sorry that you have decided to leave Mr. Marriott. We have lost many good scholars from this site in the last couple of years, and they are sorely missed. Best wishes to you on your future projects, and enjoy a happy and healthy 2014.Comment
