Don't cry. It was a while ago.

All I can say is while my experience is not the norm, it's not unheard of either. So now that you know, be aware. All I would ever ask is that if you hear someone of your faith or creed dehumanizing another, know that is a sign of imminent violence. And stand up. Don' think that the jokes and names are harmless. In and of themselves they are, but those words are teaching kids that other people are less valuable. Say something. Not just about Jews, but about Muslims, gay people, atheists, transgendered. Not a single person in this world is less worthy of god's grace than anyone else. And frankly, they don't need you to tell them how to get it, though we really are very touched that you care. It's such a personal journey anyway.

And just remember that my story is not so rare that there was no way that there was a very worried, or very scared Jewish kid on that bus who was afraid of what would happen if he said "no". Or Muslim kid, or Buddhist kid. Because they knew they had to walk right past that guy if they said no, and that is very intimidating.

Can't really see why someone should want to convert someone from one religion to another, or from one religion to none or from no religion to one. Why can't people mind their own business?

            Hello Robert!

Well, when I say I am an agnostic, I will face the following thing; I am secretly atheist or secretly religious.

Never mind emphasizing my respect to everyone's right to believe, whatever one wants.

Like Simon and Garfunkel were singing: "All lies and gest, still the man hears what it wants to hear and disregards the rest".

            All the best

Oh please god no. I'm Henry the Eighth I Am is the song that got me diagnosed with OCD. I hummed it throughout the entirety of sixth grade.

Well, with THAT thinking you certainly aren't going to serve ANYONE'S political purposes.

"Second verse just like the first.."

Ms. Errata, you're too young to remember them.

Are you kidding? I'm younger than she is and I dig HH. 'Sugar, honey honey'. They were just here in my town and I thought about seeing them. But then I was raised with a mother born in 1940, a sister born in 1959, and an older brother born in 1970, so the albums available for me to listen to spanned from 50's rock to Johnny Mathis to Beatles to Deep Purple and finally to KISS. Oh, and Kenny Roger's Greatest Hits (the only country album in the house).

                        Yours truly,

                        Tom Wescott

Don't have guts to quote The Beatles... Some still might remember mr. Lennon's certain comments.

I looked it up online. Burning my Beatles CDs now.

My mom listened to the oldies station, so I used to hear it every other day or so.

Tom: Are you really younger than me? I mean I am still clearly juvenile in behavior and manner (I totally just bought a new Play Doh set) but I thought I have been at the kid's table on here for awhile. Not in the ignored by adults kind of way, more in the forgiving the occasional mashed potato ball being launched across the room kind of way.

I am not familiar with the Herman's Hermits version. The one I remember is the Joe Brown version. Second verse just like the first, third verse just like the first, fourth verse just like the first :
