I am a litle worried to mess up my Youtube suggestions, so I googled the claim and the first link (literally) that came up was a fact check by Associated Press:

Posts misrepresent research on multiple sclerosis and COVID-19 vaccines found in WHO database

CLAIM: The World Health Organization admitted that COVID-19 vaccines can lead to multiple sclerosis.

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. A database on the WHO website includes an abstract for a conference presentation about research that examined two (!) recent cases of MS. The research found there might be a potential link to COVID vaccines, but did not definitively conclude the shots triggered the neurological disease, according to the global health agency and multiple sclerosis experts. They stress the research, which is not a peer-reviewed study, is limited and more extensive studies would be needed to determine what role, if any, the inoculation plays in the onset of the disease.

      [...]

The abstract, by researchers at the University Hospital of Zürich in Switzerland, was published in 2022 in the Multiple Sclerosis Journal. It examined two cases of multiple sclerosis that began in close proximity to the patients receiving mRNA-based vaccinations and concluded they could have been induced by the COVID-19 inoculations, experts told The Associated Press.

      [...]

Fiol also noted that the abstract’s introduction makes it clear that other research has found that the type of nervous system damage caused by MS occurs more often after COVID infection than after COVID vaccination.

She also noted that a study published last year in the Journal of Neuroimmunology similarly looked at a small number of cases of MS that developed following a COVID shot. But the researchers with the Cleveland Clinic’s Neurological Institute in Ohio determined that “causality of vaccination and onset of MS cannot be determined” based on the five cases they examined, recommending further research.

So, 7 cases in all were researched. And we literally had billions of people vaccinated by now.

What I would REALLY like to be studied is why some people are so fixated on the COVID vaccines when all the indicators are that this was one of the safer vaccines that were rolled out in medical history. And at teh same time, we have hundred of deaths from low dosage paracetamol poisining (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1114447/), there are cases of paralysis with the Polio vaccine (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4083159/) or organ failure with the yellow-fever vaccine (https://www.cdc.gov/yellowfever/vacc...reactions.html). But with the Covid vaccine, there is a whole cottage industry of grifters and "relevance-chasers". Go figure....

Fact is, every time you put something into your body, there is a small risk of something going wrong. As long as the benefit outweighs the risks by a factor of hundreds or thousands then we should be ok (depending on the nature of each respective risk. I.e., I will accept a 20% risk of diarrhea in order to prevent death, but not the other way round....).

      Cheers.

Perhaps we should get Nadine Dorris to do all this stuff after all she’s been elected.
