    Hello you all!

The avalanches delayed my journey, but Penticton is a pretty and wide city of the Rockies.

Well, but have to be heading to Vancouver soon...

    All the best

Welcome to the West Coast and the rain, rain is the reason why it’s so green here but if you don’t like the weather they say to wait a bit and it will change. 

Are you planning on making your way down into the states, maybe Niagara Falls, not too far from Toronto after all....

let me know if you do, maybe we can get a cup of coffee or diner as I am not too far from there myself

Having a fun trip so far??

                Hello Steadmund Brand!

Thanks for the offer, but travelling by Greyhound for weeks was pretty gruelling. Want to stay in one place for a week!

                All the best

If you’re interested WWII intelligence history:
Just outside of Toronto in Whitby is Camp X, a Secret WW II allies spy training camp which was started in Dec 1941 by Winston Churchill, Sir William Stephenson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

It has been said Ian Fleming the writer of the James Bond series either visited or trained at Camp X in 1942 and the James Bond character is based on Sir William Stephenson. Sir William Stephenson a Canadian was Britain’s WW II chief of intelligence whose codename was Intrepid.

                    Hello you all!

My last day in Canada, heading back to Finland in the evening.

Most of the artifacts from Camp X are at the Sigs Museum here in Kingston.

It's a shame they lost so much before they thought to preserve it for study

                        • Hello you all!

Yes indeed, it was a very nice trip. Though, I have to mention one thing; you don't realize, how BIG Canada is, until you've been there!

I have even tried to squeeze my five-week trip into an article for the local newspaper!

                          All the best
