      My cockatoo does not like cats. He sees the mice as his pets and feeds them. Gets quite distressed if I use a mouse trap.

      Up here in the Otway Ranges,cats tend to kill our beautiful wildlife,especially the parrots.Some go feral and grow real BIG,the cats not the parrots

        Well, it's nice to see a bit of inter-species cooperation.

        If your cockatoo enjoys the company of the mice, I'd just let them be.

        It sounds like a beautiful friendship!
