U.S. Capitol Placed on Lockdown as Election Protests Grow Violent
232-197 vote only 10 republicans voted to impeach. The majority of Republicans still won't impeach.Awful.
They don't care, they want a country of their own.In that country the Republicans win all election court cases and win all state elections and ransacking Congress is allowed. It also allows the president not to tackle a pandemic problem from the beginning (Feb) which killed 381000 Americans.Disgraceful horrible people.
Last week one republican ex-senator was talking about the state of the party today. He said that of course his party tries to squash the vote (talking about the black vote), if everyone in this country was allowed to vote we would never win an election. This is the reason we cling to the electoral college, it is the only sure way we will win anything.

Why does this party even exist?
Hard to answer but I'll ramble on.
It's supposedly the party of conservative religion,anti-abortion,anti-LGBT,fewer government interference, less
taxes,partly anti-science--religion matters more-don't wear mask, etc..
The one dominating the party right now are mostly about white power, racist, they are from the South/middle of the country. They want the upper hand, including economically.Democracy/constitution/laws are secondary. The bungling of the job by idiot Trump to fight the pandemic, ransack the Congress,Trump calling election officials in Pennsylvania and Georgia to change the outcome of the elections, they don't care, white power is more important.I think all the congressmen/women who voted against impeachment and the Congress rioters were whites.
We'll in states where voters register with reference to party, there are around 10-12 million more registered Democrats than Republicans. The whites in 20-50 years is going to be the minority compared to the sum of the rest.
A lot of whites don't like them, including Republicans like the 10 who voted for impeachment. They won't stop the Constitution, which implies you are just another individual with a job, something to do,something to learn, responsibilities and that's it.The military's oath is to protect the constitution, not to a party or leader.Things are stacked against them.
But anyways Democrats will control the white House,House of Rep.,Senate and mature professional adults will take over from toddler Trump.I can't believe that with all the resources the USA have in responding to the pandemic,it is instead more focused on babysitting idiot toddler Trump and his idiot toddler followers.Awful.
Clearly the first human laws (way older and already established) spawned organized religion's morality - from which it's writers only copied/stole,ex. you cannot kill, rob, steal (forced,it started civil society).

[SIZE=16px]Sorry, but I can't get on board that train.
The philosopher Karl Popper once argued that Marxism is a pseudo-science, because it is non-falsifiable. Anything--every human conflict--can be seen as 'economic,' or a 'class struggle,' even if the facts suggest otherwise. Just as Freud simplified every human behavior to be about sex.
[FONT=Calibri]But not every case of civil unrest is a bread riot disguised as something else. There have been armed conflicts where two sides had little or no economic stress. There are battles in primate societies where the food source is abundant.
One of the rioters inside the capitol was married to a doctor. Was he under economic stress? Maybe, but there is no evidence for it.
Personal circumstances are not necessarily related to how one perceives the national situation. There are plenty of people, for example, who have barely even seen an immigrant in their rural neck of the woods, but who are nevertheless convinced their country is being overrun by them. You can be filthy rich, and nevertheless be afraid for the economy. Those aren't even in contradiction to one another.
Be that as it may, the mob consists of individuals, and a myriad of different motives are to be found. Some are concerned about the economy, some are concerned about crime committed by illegal aliens, some may be concerned about actual aliens for all we know. It takes all sorts.
